Is it just me or does the dev's responses do not sound technical at all. Seems like his escape goat reply is "this is only a test release"  Not sure if he can get it done.  This post will be deleted in 5,4,3,2....

it's you

There might be a reason for it:

There has been controversy lately regarding the true origins of XC. You can see clearly at this page after you login and press 'Show ratings'. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=249302 that the XC coin "developer", atcecure has paid loljosh 0.7 BTC.

atcsecure 0: -0 / +0(0) 2014-05-09 0.70000000 Very trustworthy and put in the extra effort as needed.. very fast service and highly recommended

Loljosh is a person who offers custom made alt-coins for BTC. You can see loljosh's thread where he offers his services at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=466908.0
Loljosh started offering a PoS and X11 custom made alt-coin on 9th of May: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=466908.msg6625004#msg6625004 which has the exact same features as XC.
9th may was also the very same day the X11Coin launched and the payment was made to Loljosh from atcecure. The date of the launch can be looked up in the original thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600706.0
To this moment the X11Coin "developer" is very vague about the transaction and hasn't even explained what was the payment for. We can only assume it was a payment for the creation of X11Coin since it's Loljosh expertise field. The evidence above is a strong indication that this is the case

Since we have developer's attention it would be nice to have it addressed since it hasn't been.

This release does not have the multi-path paradigm code which will prevent that.  This is only a test release

What part of multi-path paradigm code don't you get?

ATCSECURE has even offered a bounty to someone who could provide a testnet blockexplorer to answer back the constructive criticism. This is the last step towards the launching of this project, someone please do it.

Maybe he can just make it himself. He's a 20 year veteran software developer right? I'm sure he can do it.

That's exactly what I was thinking.  Is it really that hard?  If it is, then lol to everything else.

Right, do you see CEO of a company go sweep the floor?  Ya, how hard can sweeping be...

If that's the case, then this coin is not anonymous at all.

from page one, day one: Anonymous Transactions: In Development

what is everyone's problem jumping down the dev's throat at every turn?

yowzers....

Honestly some of the hate you are getting is from xc holders who don't want to toyed with and the rest is from some darkcoin holders.

And I understand them, here you have a pre alpha anonymity release with no proof of it working apart from sketchy screenshots. And people are saying it's way better than darksend already  (which actually works right now), and they actually have no idea how it works. Burden of proof is on xc, not dark.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Thank you for your answer.
So you are saying this test release is only anonymous if you use the GUI?  Running a simple command reveals the origin wallet address if you know the transaction id?

the receiver can not see the original wallet address

BIG Shout Out to evtrmm for hosting the teamviewer!  I can confirm running the gettransaction command with the Transaction ID DOES NOT show the origin address.  So that post saying all he was doing was "replacing the sent from text field as 'unknown' in the GUI" was completely FALSE.
