so I have had some transactions run through me

I had a new wallet address created in my wallet.

Some funds were sent to it.

The funds just stayed in this address and didn't move

Can somebody explain to me why XC was worth about 0.005+ last week and quickly after that went down to ~0.002 until now and hasn't moved much? We only had positive news (anonymity being implemented) the last days, right?
 Huh

People don't know about it so we may wanna advertise... The only source is this thread, and the people out there wont read the thread of every single cryptocoin.

Anybody can ask bloggers/youtubers/journalists or someone who reaches people to spread the news?

You will not be able to find his sending address as the sending address, even in the wallet, comes up as an imposter address.
The way it works right now, lets say your address is XXmyaddress, you need to label it something so lets say addressA.
you send to address XXA...

In the command
Code:
"sendfrommixer" addressA XXA... 2.0

your send from addres in:
"gettransaction"
shows up as
label: addressA
address: XXimposter

I am not aware of the behind the scenes work here, but I have yet to find transaction.

I do have time today, so I will post a full example that shows actual transaction, send from address, send to address, tx ID, etc.  ALL information so we can truly dig into the transaction, knowing what we are looking for, and do a full investigation.

DRK went BIG after the anon rumors. Now XC has it... nothing is happening.

Last week, BEFORE anon implementations the coin was worth (bubble?) 0.0055.. now WITH anon it's worth around 0.002. This may indeed be a lack of advertising.

Patience... We went way too far too fast.. We should be in the 30's, give the coin a week or so (maybe less) and I think we will be there.. A lot of dead wood has now been dropped.

Actually you'll find that speculation is the driving force for the price. A rumour of news coming or a new release around the corner will usually increase the price. However, once the news has been released, the price usually dumps a bit. Unless said news is amazeballs, which is very rare.

The bottom line is people have more confidence in Dark (it has been around longer); the only real solid way to catch up will be with solid progress that everyone can see/verify. There are a dozen or more coins now hyping anonymity features they promise to add, so promises of future capabilities aren't worth much at this point.

I see XC as DRK's POS anon sibling, that is how we should see ourselves IMO... There is room for both and we were first so I think XC is in a great position.

I would really like to see that. I though I figured it out but seems I was wrong. And this is a simple coin mixer...

If you aren't already all-in for XC, now would be the time to jump in both feet first it seems? Price is on the way up..

Why are so many expecting to see the price explode at any second?

If the price went up by just 1% a day for the next few months it would be both more sustainable and profitable in the long run

I think some people are expecting to be quitting their job or buying a villa in the south of France within the next few days... Not gonna happen like that!

Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people.

People are getting more educated. Being unable to accurately answer technical questions and throwing buzzwords around instead and saying "protocol will fix it" makes (non-gullible) people wary. Most of us have just been accustomed to getting better explanations and responses.
