you would need 1000 coins in your wallet to become xnode. you can have any coin for minting/staking, just unlock your wallet for staking. xnode = your coins collecting transaction fees minting/staking = your coin collecting interest of 3.33%/yr Probably nooby question but ty for answering.
Do I need to buy an Xnode to stake in my wallet?
No. Regular wallet with funds in it, thats it.

Based on the circa 100 BTC buy order @20k.. Looks like we may not be seeing the teens again.. Here is hoping.
I understand that the word "undervalued" is used a lot in the crypto world, but with XC it is the first time it can be used correctly. The price of XC was pushed unreasonably far down, on the other hand we endured a lot of FUD but we are still standing, that should tell people something. I believe the current price should be in the $3-4 range as a new floor. It will just be a matter of time before people realize this. For XC to be trading in the 100k - 180ksat range is almost like an insult. The market soon will react accordingly. The massive sell off at 450ksat was one epic bear trap. Top 10 within a week Top 5 within a month Top 3 within two months Quote me on that in due time. If all the promises being made by the dev team come through then it will happen.

Hi All,
I'm just trying to understand a bit more about this coin. I read in OP
Total coins: 5.5 Million Block Times: 90 Seconds POS interest: 3.33% per year
Does this mean that the number of coins will increase by 3.33% each year forever?
Does this mean 3.33% is split between xnodes and POS? If not how?
Thanks.
Looks like we will be seeing 3,3% inflation per year. Once your coins are put in the xnode you don't get POS for them, they are only for xnode use so you'll be getting only transaction fees. Ah, OK. thanks for the reply.

u need to at least 1200$ (1000 XC) to use annon function isnt that too much shouldnt that be for free ?
+ How much %/$ is fee in that anon function and who gets it ?
No you need that much to become an anon node. You can stop becoming a node at any time and withdraw that balance. For refrence it takes $12,000 to become a dark node. $12k is fair if you consider when XC reaches 0.02 it will require $14k. Though Darkcoin is a PoS and not the crypto kind So its very expensive to use and couses pump thats how I see it. Why that cant be for free ?

I'm ready to short if it gets there. He might cancel that order right before it hits....just saying. I don't want to visit the 17s again And how will you short.. Not aware that any exchanges allow it... Well some do, but you are talking about only with LTC and BTC...

I noticed there was a guide on the official XC Reddit but it seemed to have some stuff missing so for any Linux newbs using Debian/ Ubuntu I present Saberu`s guide for building QT on Ubuntu/ Debian: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install g++ git make qt4-dev-tools qt4-qmake libdb++-dev libssl-dev libminiupnpc-dev libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev git clone https://github.com/atcsecure/x11coincp ~/bitcoin/src/qt/locale/bitcoin_en.qm ~/x11coin/src/locale/ cp ~/bitcoin/src/qt/locale/bitcoin_ru_qm ~/x11coin/src/locale/ chmod +x x11coin/ -R chmod +x x11coin/* -R cd x11coin qmake sed -i 's/-mgw48-mt-sd-1_55//g' Makefile make clean make The make command will then take a while to compile the x11coin wallet GUI binary file from source. Then when it is finished just type ./x11coin-qt though you may want to make an x11coin.conf file using the values in the OP. If qmake is giving you errors on the qmake command then try- sudo apt-get remove qt5-default qttools5-dev-tools && sudo apt-get autoremove && sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get autoclean This will remove all the qt5 packages and route the qmake command to use qt4 only.

Anyway to check if my Xnode status is working?
+1000000 Just want to confirm that the xnodes seem to be working as expected. I have sent a transaction from one wallet to another through the xnodes and in reviewing the transaction on either end cannot see the sending or receiving address. The block explorer is still down and when it gets back I will check it out further with it.
One thing I noticed is the normal fee is added to the sending transaction. The anon fee which is 0.00001 is then subtracted from the amount sent. So the receiver gets the amount sent - 0.00001. Might we want to have this fee included in the amount so the receiving end gets the full amount sent?
I know the above is a very small concern. The key is the nodes are running and my trans action went through without a hitch. I know Atcsecure is going to give us more info tomorrow but thought this was great news and should be shared.
Great work by the dev!
edit: This was on the live network, with real funds, sent to and from non xnode wallets

I'm trying to get the XC Blockchain Explorer at http://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc is back on the main chain, but wallet is taking a long time to re-synchronize: the network is still heavily on the old version, and the wallet is always connecting to other wallets on the fork... Which brings a question, how can a POS chain quickly recover from a fork? For POW, once you get the majority of the mining pools to switch, you're through, but for POS, you need to get the majority of the wallets, or the fork could leave a long time. Having some built-in notification mechanism seems crucial!

Good to see some big buys - I think we will probably test 0.003 within the next 24 hours - a period of stability like this without anyone dumping amounts the market can't soak up is a sure sign of an impending 'leg up'. While I think we will heavily rely on the failure of Darkcoin to get anywhere near their value I do think this coin is probably 2 or 3 times lower than it probably should be judging by the relatively stable price Darkcoin is holding.
If I had to put money on Darkcoin or XC having regard to which one is more likely to double in price I would put that money on XC at this point in time.
It's a market that has shown EXTREME reliance on good or bad news from the dev. It's more likely that the next news you hear from the dev will be positive and Id expect the push to 0.03 to occur almost right away.
Buy in now before the walls get moved up - its a good buy right now and I doubt that wall is going to be removed - if it does disappear for a moment it is far more likely to be because the market is pushing upwards and it therefore needs to be moved up a level.
