I'm having some issues with SMF, anyone know how I can let users of a certain group read posts but no actually post in them? They most also be able to post in one board. So far it seems like newbies would have to log out to read posts which isn't user friendly.
Anyone? You should be able to do it via admin pages, create some groups then allow permissions for each group I did that in the past on my corp Eve online forum I've managed to that but I'm having trouble only allowing them to post in one thread. anyone else here wake up and before anything immediate check the XC price and forums ? ... I remember doing this when Bitcoin was 2 dollars... :>
I have been doing that for over a week now ever since I bought XC. The way it was going last week it seemed totally possible I was going to wake up and it was going to be 10x what it was the night before. Seems that way still now that the price has been kept down for so long. |

I found the best way for to ban users, a karma system. If a users has -10 karma, I will personally look over the posts and see if they must be banned.

so possibly a noobish question here. I backed up my wallet (mac client, newest release) and then encrypted my wallet. Now it seems that my wallet will not sync. I've had it open for a day and a half now and its been synced until I encrypted it. I also unlocked it to allow staking. Is this normal?

@Teka, could you maybe tell us how the logo progress is going? At the contest page it states that a new logo would be introduced today, is that still going to happen?

The submissions end today 23:59 GMT TIME, after this users will have 24hours to vote on the new logo. I would give a bit more time teka as for now I did not see anything business like apart from the one taken by Xavier I don't think there is any rush for the logo better come up with the beat ones rather than amotorial ones. +1 if you agree |

No sir, but it does happen. I'll help you solve this issue  Step one. Press start Step two. type 'run' into search Step three. open 'run' and type %appdata% Step four. find your XC folder Step five *** IMPORTANT. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR WALLET.DAT THAT IS ALL OF YOUR COINS. NOT including wallet.dat , erase every other file within the XC folder. Seriously do not erase your wallet.dat. Step six. YOU DONE NOW, open your wallet, it'll sync within no time. Czech that signature if you wanna hook it up. |

No, my wallet is encrypted and is syncing. Try to add some nodes maybe that shall help. |

No, my wallet is encrypted and is syncing. You should try the fix I posted a minute ago. As for adding nodes, just make a .conf file within your appdata X11coin folder. |

So, to sum it up, the more people that helps running xnodes.. the harder it will be to trace transactions, if not unpossible. Second, transaction times and stability will increse with running nodes as well. This is what decentralized is all about.. you can think of it as torrent traffic as well. Multipath can be applied to any sort of traffic. Thats why its kewl.
I plan to run 20 Xnodes, long as I can get enough commission rewards to cover my time to maintain and secure a Linux server and protect it from the onslaught of hackers  |

TC is the worse thing to happen to default, needs to open his eyes and not jump to conclusions, not everyone lies!!! Anyway as promised I have left, pass word changed to long random which I will forget like that plonker who ruined a perfectly fine account.

No you need that much to become an anon node. You can stop becoming a node at any time and withdraw that balance. For refrence it takes $12,000 to become a dark node. |
