I don't know if you guys really want to play this game just yet.

ATCSecure has always said that this is just a coinmixer and not "NSA" level type anonymity.   His rev 3 will get to that level.

If somehow, the answer is correct, you guys will just create a lot of FUD that ATCSecure never said rev 1 will deliver....

you mean. No one should test the anonymity in case they can break it?

bit of an odd way to approach a feature set. In my line of work we have always tested code as hard as we possibly can until it broke. Then we knew how to make it better.

I hold DRK and I hold XC

I evangelise for neither. I just want the tech behind my coins to be as good as possible, if people break it all the better. Then the dev knows what needs to be fixed.

Sure you should test it, but don't take it like it's an official representation of what XC will ultimately deliver at the end.   The test is on the sending of it arriving at the destination, not on how "secure" or "anonymous" the final XC will deliver.

Everyone knows  that coin mixing isn't 100% anonymous and ATCSecure have already said that for rev 1, it's just a generic mixer that won't deliver 100% anonymity.   DRK trolls will run with this and FUD this to death.   There is no need to create FUD for them.   Now, if REV3 anonymity fails, then that's a different story.

This is good data and actually a very simple fix, which will be included in v1.36....

Thank you!

Yeah..the transaction went through only one node. I guess this could be set to 5 minimum for example.

Also aren't the timestamps and blocks numbers a concern? Could the amount transferred between 2 nodes be higher than the original amount not just lower? This would be major but not sure how it could be done without using nodes balances.

The bounty for the logo is now 200XC

a Logo design in 99design website is 299 Dollars:

http://99designs.com/launch

I would give the 200 plus XCs to them rather than Amateours if nothing good is found and it seems you can organize contests there Why we just do not move the Contest in that website so? and we can give exposure to the contest to more designers that hopefully are professional as well?

What do you think?

We need a full identity package not just a logo. Something that is put together as a whole and not piecemeal. I am sorry but you are not going ot get that with a contest nor do I think we will get that from 99design.

I work with people who do this on a daily basis and have the means to deliver what we need.  I have extended an offer to the dev to have this done at no cost to the community or the dev and am awaiting his reply.

I agree on this also would be nice to hear from ATC and the community maybe they can enter the contest for the logo as a start? I have a friend as well that I contacted but he is not into crypto and busy as shit

Dude the devs aren't open to a name change, I've been trying to push this idea. 'that other coin' name changed FROM our one currently, and fucking did very well. Like seriously XClouds sounds damn good, its marketable, easily design able, and revolves around the idea of decentralization and mesh networking. Also you could have a motto on the coin/logo that said 'XClouds ... Transfer Anonymous' to hit BOTH key points of the coin.

Nah yo fuck that, well call it two letters, xc

like what?

No disrespect I'm sure the developers have a grasp on the situation but I mean come on.

+1 it s not good that we cannot discuss a namechange openly. there might be a lot work to do but without identity who knows what u are workin on? xcloud is pretty cool if it wasn t taken already.
X cloud sounds retarded. And the dev team makes executive decisions not the community. XC name was already decided, so stop bringing it up and move on

I'm on block 23420 in the updated windows wallet.

Do I have to wait a certain time period before my coins stake?

thats the correct block

Yes staking is random and can take up to 30days

So staking begins randomly anywhere from 8hours to 30days.  Does it matter how many coins I have whether I have 100 or 10,000 coins?

I've already updated wallet to 1.33 and is unlocked. When I highlight the minting lcon, it says that I'm minting, but stake is still 0.00.

yes, randomly from 8hrs up to 30days. i am pretty sure (but i don't know exactly) that it matters in a way how many coins you own. I think that because if it didn't matter then i couldn't understand what the "weight" should tell me. and you are not allowed to move coins around different wallets/exchanges if you want them to stake. if moving around then you reset the "staking-timer".
example:
-you have got 100000coins (100k)
-you don't move them around
-stake interest is 3.3%/year
-that means you get 3300coins/year if you leave them staking in your wallet
- that means 275/month roughly

Yes the amount of owned coins matters when staking. The more you have the easier you get a stake. Just like difficulty in pow.

Potential benefits currently include the fee's received and helping fine-tune the code logic

Is there any statement on how high these fees are? Sorry if i missed it. Because one has to calculate if it s more worth to run xnodes or just keep POS.

In the running and Xnode user guide, you mention reserving 10000 XC in the guide.

Did you mean 1000?

Is there any cloud hashing service that offers mining of XC? Sorry if I am asking the wrong question because I am a newbie in cryptocurrency.

XC seems to have a lot of good promises.

I thought the crossed hammers symbolize income from POS. EDIT or income from solomining which shouldn t be the case here. (?)

It means he has a chance, my mining picks are like that but I haven't earned anything yet. It would show up under stake if you got a reward for PoS.

So if you have 20 coins you can run an Xnode? How high do you expect to take the upper limit? It would suck to get in doing it now only to have the minimum move past you and then not be able to run on.
