They are all calling for discussion on coins without complete open source code to be banned now. *sigh* Let them. They don't have to invest in XC.

I don't think discussion of XC will get banned. We have a fair and mutually beneficial policy on open sourcing our code. I've posted this on the thread, so they'll all appreciate it now. My hope is that fruitful discussion will ensue.

The coin is getting a lot of good attention there because of prominent members watching it and engaging in the discussion. This is really good, it looks like people are skeptical of closed source, but that only means that XC and its commitment to open source is bound to skyrocket it.

Still need assistance in getting the private transactions to work on build 2.45. Over 15 attempts of various amounts between 1 and 10 and no dice. Correct ports open on both the router and win firewall, wallet has full network access, etc. No coins lost, just no transactions showing up and certainly nothing ending up on the other end. It shouldn't be this difficult... what am I missing?

That's odd. Is your internet connection through a large institution or some entity that might have all manner of filtering on its network? For example the Oxford University network doesn't let private tx's through at present. This is an issue that'll be resolved in future updates.

For the life of me, I feel like I have followed what existing directions to a T and have everything setup appropriately but yet nothing. I'm not trying to start anything here as it would be counterproductive being that I hold quite a few coins myself, but I do want to know why I am having issues on a feature that everyone else seems to have no problems using (especially when it is a core feature by design).

We will see about skyrocketing part. At least it is good that the source code is released with a delay. About the price, well, I wonder when we will hit bottom first.

Just curious. What brand routers are you using?

Hopefully you are correct, but that is only speculations to say that we already hit the bottom, even if I want to tell myself that. Anyways I'm just keeping all my coins. Keep up the good work!
