It is really unfortunate that CoinWallet.co. They were great guys with a great service. Still, at least Piggy still has an online wallet!

bump .. tis a shame .. ethought is taking an honorable bow out .. but it is/was a great service .. 3rd party trust is about the most rare thing in crypto and CoinWallet.co had established a great record ... i'm not smart enough to manage it but brand PIGGY blends perfectly with CoinWallet.co ... someone wiser would investigate that possibility.

I found a bug of android piggycoin wallet.

when I used the built-in QR scanner to scan the QR which is generated from my recipient address (peRpahDtHc2KuBRumDAfLGppDJ46X6YEZK), the address could be correctly shown on the "Complete"  window, but when I clicked on the "OK", it couldn't be fully copied to the "Recipient address" column, only showed part of it like "c2KuBRumDAfLGppDJ46X6YEZK".

I've tried many times, got the same result. Please try it to see if you or other guys  have the same problem.

You shouldn't need to do anything special to get coins from that wallet.  Just install the newest wallet (Desktop PiggyBank), run it, close it, then copy your old wallet.dat over the newer one.  That's for New PiggyCoin [PIGGY].

If you're talking about the old proof-of-work PIG, then you're out of luck I'm afraid, as that coin is defunct now.  There was a coin swap to New PiggyCoin which went on for over a year, but we felt we had to end it eventually.

CCN press release looks legit. This makes me feel better. Back on April 1 there was a huge spike to over 300 satoshi on the price. The story I heard on the Poloniex trollbox was that someone was developing an Angry Birds type game for Piggycoin, which I relayed here a few pages back in this thread. But then I heard nothing about it and the price settled back to right where it had been. I guess everyone discounted it as an April 1 joke or faked story/pump and dump or combination thereof. I know I came to that conclusion, and felt bad about my posting. This news, if it pans out, vindicates me. Whew.

I'm also looking forward to playing the game. And if it allows more than one player per household, it's something to get my kids involved with as well. Or maybe we can all play under one account. Either way, bring it on! :-)

Regarding the new PIGGY game, I have one thing worth sharing. It's in our best interest to grow the community to attract as many new people to the game as we can. For anyone looking forward to the game, here's a simple, painless way to do that. I've gotten 100+ referrals with it for other games so I know it works.

There's a faucet that pays out 5000/10000/100,000 satoshi once per day - the catch is that they can only be spent on advertising. But since most games (including hopefully this one) pay you for getting referrals, you still wind up helping yourself. So I suggest folks get on this faucet and start stockpiling funds with an eye towards advertising the game when it comes out. I've got a fair bit saved up (I won the 100,000 award a few days ago, it happens more often than you'd think), and plan to do exactly that!

Here's my referral link - feel free to share your own around once you have your own account, as you get a 50% bonus in your own account for all referral earnings. I pledge I'll put all my earnings into this game (unless it is a total crash and burn) for the next few months to support this effort. No kidding. I tried logging in and refreshing a few times to no avail. The mess with The DAO is burying Polo right now. I don't think you could buy piggy if you tried. Parts of the screen load, but from the comments in the trollbox it sounds like the trade engine was locked up. So, be patient if you want to trade Piggy today. :-)
