noticed the price drop, and I'm confused why polo would want to remove the piggy market? Piggy is one of my favorite coins, I mined this back in the day and bought a bit here and there to add to my holdings.. oink oink I don't have twitter, so I don't know what I can do regarding polo. I will keep an eye on this see what happens. seems interesting that the market was highly volatile before this came out, polo dumping its piggy? and now does not care.. SHAME if true anyway ill be here for the long haul, I love this project.

SHAME if true anyway ill be here for the long haul, I love this project. I was on vacation, so I'm just now getting caught up. I'm of the same opinion. It really bothers me that Polo (and any other exchange) can just arbitrarily list/delist coins without clear criteria. Given the terribly obvious way they can manipulate pricing with such decisions and make a fortune, in any other financial arena they'd face heavy legal scrutiny - and someday they might anyway if they aren't careful. I'm going to urge them to be a LOT more transparent about such decisions going forward to avoid some ugly legal blowback (not that I'm a lawyer, just seems to me that it's a big risk that can be easily addressed by explaining each decision and having clear criteria made public so these things are not a surprise.) I'll also put in a good word for PIGGY with them, but let's assume at this point that PIGGY will be gone from Polo for the time being. I'm very thankful to CoinExchange for their news - I'll definitely be checking you guys out. But that makes two minor exchanges for trading Piggy, which is still pretty tenuous. Perhaps an effort should be made to get PIGGY listed on more exchanges - minor or major - so that it is not so deeply impacted by future events like this? I know nothing about such things, but would be willing to participate/support/be on the committee for such an effort, so to speak.

Gotta be careful with minor exchanges, they're always disappearing. Remember I was trying to get people to vote at Cryptoine in the past, which disappeared. Coinexchange may be OK as it's run by ethought who has a long standing in the crypto community.

Fair point. I'll check on the longetivity of the exchanges I mentioned in my PM before I reach out to them. This may be a pie-in-the-sky idea, but what about the idea of a BTC-PIGGY exchange sponsored and controlled by Piggycoin itself? Something that wouldn't vanish or be vulnerable to external events because it would be operated by people with a vested interest in Piggycoin. I have a vague idea that other coins have this or have aspired to do it, though I have no idea how successful or necessary the idea has been. Just something I thought I'd throw out.

I got Livecoin ( http://livecoin.net/) to add Piggycoin to their voting system. It will be listed in a few weeks, and then anyone registered on Livecoin can vote for it. I'll try to post a reminder when it is up.

Thanks but I'm not sure about this NovaExchange place yet so won't add it to the OP. Something about refunds not received and then the thread got locked?

Good job for having piggycoin still going strong but bad that most of your sites are gone and dead. That not good. You had a vision of educters using piggycoin yet the site for educators to help students is down. How do I get piggycoin ? Just buying and mining ? Are there not any bounties ?

Which sites do you mean? '(oo)' New PiggyCoin's mining phase is over, and now it's in the staking phase. New PIGGYs are awarded to people who leave PIGGY staking in their Desktop PiggyBanks. We can award some bounties to people if they approach us with something they want to do for PiggyCoin. Should there be some set bounties that we should advertise? We're reluctant to give out ANN translation bounties because they can do more harm than good when they become out of date.

Thanks but I'm not sure about this NovaExchange place yet so won't add it to the OP. Something about refunds not received and then the thread got locked? As a user on the exchange I lost some money.. Yes I lost a bit too due to the hack at the exchange sucks I know. let's be honest. I am all for piggycoin if you knew who I was you'd smile.. All the coins that could be saved that where being delisted on Poloniex went on there. Same owner, new team members and lots of coding and no backdoors (crossing fingers) To be fair how does one return dead coins, stolen coins coins that are broke? the original dev made bad coins etc etc There is plans in the mix for users of the exchange to get new free future coins ideas in the mix being brainstormed to help make up for the long lost stolen coins.. and put goodwill to the communities. So I can currently say with pride: Loudly and proudly is Oink Oink OInk Maybe the hacker will be nice and return the stolen coins but I also doubt that.

delist from the poloniex Seems to be quite an active community here - hopefully if enough people campaign Polo may change their mind. I remember it happening in the past when they threatened to close XMG there was was a huge community backlash and they kept the market open.

If you have some PiggyCoins, you can keep them in your Desktop PiggyBank, "unlocked for staking", and they will generate more PiggyCoins ;8]

So, we've been delisted from Poloniex :8[ Please withdraw your coins from there at your earliest convenience. We are still listed on Cryptopia.co.nz, and we've recently been added to a new exchange, CoinExchange.io :8]

Hello guys, I'm an early adopter of this coin, and as such, I still have a bunch of them. I was not paying attention to cryptos for the last year and now, when I was updating my wallets I've noticed that my backup wallet is not working with the new piggycoin wallet. I have piggybank 1.2 installed but its not connecting. Is there anyway to transfer my coins to the new wallet "format"? Thank you
