From an outsiders perspective: can someone tell me why this coin isn't dead? The volume on MINTPAL is down to 2 btc and since the spike to 800 the coin has been in steady decline. Why should I get into this coin? It seems obvious that people don't care for this coin anymore and now its just a steady decline into oblivion. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea and the execution seems to be very good, it's just that the market seems to have spoken.

Here i'll help you out, this is a new crypto. you can't expect something to be released on a large influx market to be a big hit. What this coin do has is a different crowd that it is targeting in which we are making a debut to the crowd shortly. Why should you invest? Simple, We are about to debut to the crowd that this coin was based off of. Don't you want to be there for the beggining of something amazing?

Do you have the contact from the 3rd party dev? Perhaps he can contact our Dev and talk about the best anon implementation. Instead of using a poll, I think PR can put another address to his signature... Lets say:

Address 1 - Donation for tournament
Address 2 - Donation for Anon

I had donated before, but I will donate for anon 3k. We can set an objetive, like collecting 100k, if we collect that amount within a week, we would use it for anon, if not, will be used for another thing (or the # of minerals required to develope Anon). What do you think?

why are some people selling so low?

People have been waiting  a long time for something to happen due to a long development period. Remember that 1 week in crypto = 1 year in real life. If there is not a lot of action and momentum, day traders and whales move on. This leaves the people that will make real life use of the coin to create the movement and demand. Much earlier in the thread it was recommended to take 2 days and implement anon features which would have created a demand and lots of volume and interest and create a floor of an estimated 20-30k sats while real life services are built. This is evident in the high prices of many other coins that only have anon features and nothing else because of the big demand for coins with such features. It was decided to rather start with the real life use case development which took a long time. In the absence of finalised real life use there is no other use for the coins and therefore demand, price, momentum and interest by day traders and whales have diminished followed by the expected dumping by holders that would rather withdraw to other coins where there are lots of movement and opportunities. It makes business sense to instead of leaving money lying around, to rather work with it elsewhere and return when something is about to happen like a real life service going live. Mineral holders will have to wait for the real life use to be finalised and implemented and through marketing and PR create interest by the future real life users of the coin in order to create movement and price increase again. Once that happens, crypto day traders and whales may return. There is therefore no reason why the price will increase suddenly because of the decision explained above. However, the strategy as I understand it is to create game tournaments like the one of 2 Aug and create awareness about both the prize money and betting features which will then hopefully become the catalyst that should translate into increased volume, demand as well as price.

In essence the current price and volume can be attributed by the decision not to first implement a quick win and alternative use for the coin while the intended real life use of the coin is developed.

It could work. People will probably donate because I think everyone would like to see the minerals price >20k. Imagine how much the tournament prize money would be worth to attract more top players if Minerals was trading at 20k instead of 2k. Coinier mentioned way in the beginning that he knows a dev that can do it. Perhaps Coinier can be summoned here.

Don't want to do it empty handed, I put actions before words, please dev, tell what you think about this, the sooner we start collecting minerals the sooner we can do something .

It would be nice to summon a dev (or some1 who have a dev for this, or why not some1 from min_dev team) with a wallet full of minerals!

We do not really want donations to implement anon. Also I already responded and my response stands. We will start working on anon the moment you guys will decide what sort of anon you want to see. The problem with anon is that there are shitloads of coins claiming to have anon, but 99% is simply scam coins sucking money of the investors. So tell me one please one real anon option that will not require blockchain redesign, will be safe and make everyone happy.

We understand that practically everything need to be redesigned, but we do not want to change it every time we add/remove something. It is all in our plan, and we will hire professionals, but we feel that we need to focus on functionality before we start painting stuff.

Be careful when handling your minerals on mintpal. I transfered over 100k to mintpal and they didn't release it for about 24 hours. Just did it because my old laptop crashed and I was lazy, not because I wanted to sell (dont worry). Its the second time this now happened.

Have you thought about placing an advertisment on reddit/r/starcraft? They are reasonable cheap, you only pay 0.75 cent per 1000 impressions. So you could get 50 000 impression for $35. If somebody would make a banner I am willing to upfront the cost if they money isn't there atm. Just made a good profit trading.

The only problem I see is that reddit.com/r/mineralz is pretty dead at the moment. One guy there asked for a tutorial a day a go and it hasn't been answered yet. They community is quite active but everybody is here and not on the official board / sub. For newcomers they all look a bit dead. Also, there is still no real good collection of information on how to trade with minerals, how to get them etc. pp. Maybe something considering too?
