I only sporadically look at NXT but apparently the Digital Goods Store is coming out on August 8 I think (maybe it's been delayed again) and other similar overhauls. There's going to be some sort of rebound as that kind of news always triggers hype / speculation buying.
Ah, okay. In that case, I think it is an exciting feature.

NODE coin which copied NEM distribution is releasing in a matter of days. This is breaking news. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=590421.msg8111547#msg8111547It'll be interesting to see what the capitalization of NODE will be as it is going to be independent of an asset exchange. My only concern is that the NODE threads are very slow and there's little community to it despite 1200 stakeholders. One big advantage about NODE I think are their developer's backgrounds. Having a lot of development team members from Eastern Europe is going to be a language barrier advantage, much like VK is bigger in Eastern Europe than Facebook. NODE may very well be able to carve itself a big presence in Eastern Europe. I'm reminded that coins with vibrant communities like Dogecoin, which was worth more than NXT back in April, can go very far despite technical handicaps. NEM I think can go far due to its' community and technical strengths.

NXT and the assets are very good buys right now as the whales are going to send NXT back up to 8 cents, imo. You just have to sell before they do.
Alright, you made your call, we'll see what happens. What made you decide to start capitalizing NXT correctly? By your last couple posts I am guessing it must be your newfound love of NXT. To nutildah This guy is the biggest asshole I have come across, he goes from thread to thread Trolling, costing me money, well every FUCKING coin you support I will now attack, you fucking cunt. I am now going to cost YOU money you little fucking TWAT. TO ALL INVESTORS OF THIS COIN, WHEN THE PRICE DROPS YOU CAN BLAME THIS LITTLE CUNT. YOU WANT A FUCKING WAR? Well you got one and I don't care what it costs me. Cunt

Sorry about that guys! He's talking about NAUT. I am admittedly waging armchair jihad against its dev (hedge fund manager & CNBC guest Brian Kelly) because I believe he is trying to Trojan Horse a Wall Street takeover of the entire cryptosphere. If you don't think that's a problem, ask the general bitcoin community how they feel about the NY regulation that was recently drafted. My day job as a fraud analyst indeed leaves me cunty on occasion and I apologize for that. I won't blame you if you delete his post, my post, or any of my posts from this thread. Peace, Nutildah the Hungry

Keep it positive guys. NEM is not about attacking other coins or groups. That is the way of the old economy.
Rather, we want to establish a NEW economy that is based on the principles of financial freedom, decentralization, and equality of opportunity. We don't just want to evolve the old economy and modify ways of doing things, but we want to create an entirely new system.
We don't want to just be better at walking and crawling, but rather transcend walking and crawling and learn to fly. Attack others is not constructive for building a new economy. Let's rather help people to realize who they truly are and to build a better world.

IMO All original altcoins 2.0 should be successful.
It brings competition, innovation, and variation for people.
Freedom of choice is important.

Exactly. If there weren't other coins, there wouldn't be any innovation.

I think TaunSew was my most satisfying "ignore" on the bitcointalk forum so far. The more bullshit and nonsense a troll spouts, the more satisfying it is to hit that ignore button. That's nice. His message was actually directed at Nutildah, something he confirmed with me in messaging and he also made other posts directed at him. By the way not the first time I have been overtly ignored (in a brag post) by a NXT whale and/or one of their shills. The ironic thing is, while they claim to put me on ignore, they definitely still read my posts all the time as evident on their forum. In this particular case it looks like a genuine NXT whale came out of sleep to address me. "NXT would be $50 billion, and I would be retired in the Bahamas and I would had gotten away with it if it wasn't for those meddling Sews!"

Hi Taunsew,
Why are you spreading FUD about NXT everywhere? Is this the attitude of NEM? Proving NEM is better by trying to take down NXT is very unprofessional.
This will only bring harm to the NEM community IMO.
I'm not saying this because I'm one of the 73 stakeholders of NXT. I'm saying this because I'm a stakeholder of NEM and I'm worried about our attitude towards other 2.0 cryptos which are the future. We should work together instead.
The New Economy Movement should stand for working together and not being isolated by attacking other ones.

TaunSew is right. NXT is obvious piece of what comes out of the ass . dont lie to urself and defend this shit my lovely friend. ~CfA~ I'm not discussing about which coin is better. I'm talking about 'attitude'. When you go to nxtforum.org, you can't find 1 person that trolls about NEM. Instead; They are promoting it. And they are very interested in NEM. So. Instead of trolling NXT. Go look what our competition is doing and learn from it. Don't shout like; 'NXT is obvious piece of what comes out of the ass!' That says more about you than NXT. Grow up man.

They do not represent the nem community as a whole. Nxt had emule but he was mostly harmless. The multiple trolls in Ben are much more insidious, underhanded and dangerous. They do not have nems or nxts best interest at heart where as the majority of the nem community do. Ok. Thanks for clarifying.

Voting on the forum was prone to rigging. A fair and transparent way would be to vote by PM, with only the NEM account holders eligable to vote and the results logged to our Google spreadsheet. This is a little more work, but is verifiable to all parties. It will prevent the outcome from being being disputed in the future and will also show all the active members and lurkers. Use the NEM newsletter and PM to inform all members.
