Are you guys voting for the new logo? Yes, I am as this is something I can do as stakeholder but who lacks dev skills. I must confess the sign-up process was a nightmare, but I think people are aware of this anyway. For the record: - First activation email never received.
- Second activation received, but embedded link sent me to main forum page instead of activation page
- Confused from setp two I then tried to reset password, in case this was the problem, was told account existed but not activated
- Repeated activation, followed link in email, back to main forum, remembered that the reset password page had a final box for activation code
- Followed link to reset password and entered activation code, it failed
- Next link in activation email stated if having problems follow second link and enter activation code provided.
- Second link in activation email also dumped back at main forum page
- Finally copied the link text from the second link of the email and pasted into browser, this time I'm directed to a page with a single box for activation code
- Copied activation code from activation email and pasted into box in browser, voila I am activated and account enabled!
In conclusion I would suggest the embedded URLs are getting mangled in the email so when you click on them they are truncating and users are being directed to unintended locations KC This is great work, this will help fix the problem much faster !!! GREAT POST!! |

1) Send 1 NXT from the account you want the asset to be transfered to to NXT-97MX-EWKV-CGKX-DA5WH
This will pay for the tx fee and act as bookkeeping.
2) Send pm to xtester with patmast3r in cc.
The pm needs to include the tx id for the 1 NXT payment. Don't pm us saying "I payed 1 NXT. Send my token". INCLUDE THE TX ID!
This is what a TX ID looks like: 7136633102723179216. Plz don't send us something else.
We'll issue tokens once a week. Current plan is to issue tokens every monday. Plz send your request at least 24h in advance otherwise you'll have to wait for the next monday to come along.
xtester will check first, put you on the list, then I will recheck and issue the token.

yes! all cube guys get on NEM forum and vote for your favourite logo!!! I dig the cube logo as well. Although it's still relatively new, I already look at it as the "cool throwback logo". Even if it doesn't win, let's use it for 1 day every year on NEM's anniversary or something |

You should use sceureAE, it's a completely online wallet that you can also use to trade assets. If you are using Nxt instead of BTC, just skip the first couple steps in the guide, and deposit Nxt to your address (It will be labeled as account ID). You just took one post and made your conclusions. And the result is wrong. (Maybe the same has happened with many issues)
If you would have read my earlier posts couple pages ago, you could have noticed that I wrote about these things as early as in March.
It is difficult to be happy with these circumstances.
Im sorry, but, certainly I'll not remember some or one post from march. Probably most of us here will not remember. I dont remember what I eat at Friday  . If your idea is really good, just dont give up. Tell it more than one time.
eh ... the posts in page 160 contains the quotes in question. If the idea is "obvious" and "generally used", but no one in the community comments it, then it means that they think a) "it's obvious and ofcourse we will consider it" or b) "it sucks, it's not worth of trying, we know better, do not come here to give advices to us". jkiol has a point there and i think hes right.. iv often posted ideas in threads and not gotten any response and its demotivating not to get any response. some saying "no thats bad.. what about this" is better than no response. it happens in many threads.. yea... that is kind of problem of this "decentralization" ie. these every-matter-threads. But also named boards (eg in Trello) have it difficult to solve the problem. One more comment about this "If your idea is really good, just dont give up. Tell it more than one time." It is not the correct solution to spam every week with one's ideas. Those ideas must be presented at the time, when the issue is at the most active phase. But, who notices every time that kind of activity? Not everyone, maybe some few active forum members only, coz everyone will get their passive periods sometimes. That's why it is important that there are dedicated people, who will gather all the ideas of their areas during the "whole" project history. |

Think of identifier as a name of wallet file. Your wallet is on NXTblocks server, but it's encrypted by your password. The identifier downloads the correct wallet so you can decrypt it in your browser. This has nothing to do with Nxt, but how NXTblocks wallet works (with a wallet file, like bitcoin). 3. i go to AE,, and find the NEMstake market,, but i cant find the buttons to BUY or SELL...

You don't need to download/install any software and no blockchain to worry about. |

So far, it's one of the first days without bitching, right?!?  We have to be on a good way. Btw.: THAT's exactly where the marketing of NEM should start at. Have a look at all this "different" coins out there. If you have a look at them, you will probably see, that they have actually all the same focus, when it comes to selling their product. The focus of the marketing looks always like that (Of course, most time with even more "special features" in the same statistic)^^:  Please, tell me what you think, if you see that? ...And yes, this is the black coin, which I even think is probably one of the best (next to doge with it's meme) in presenting it self. |

I have mentioned this before, but I would like to go over it again.
I think a really big problem with the adaption of crypto currencies is that they aren't easy and safe enough.
The iphone came out in 2008 and bitcoin in 2009. I teach at an expensive private university in a high tech area so my population stats are skewed, but I have 100% smartphone adaption, yet still most of my students don't know hardly anything about bitcoin, if they have even heard of it.
Why? Smartphones add a lot of value to my students' daily lives and bitcoin doesn't.
I am completely convinced that the future of all crypto is in mobile.
For a crypto like NEM to be successful, it needs to be so easy to use that my 85 year old grandmother can use it on her iphone, yet I can leave my smart phone in the hands of my 4 year old nephew so he can play games, take pics and watch movies on it while I work. And I need to have no fear that when I come back in 2 hours to retrieve my phone that all my money won't be gone. (Both of these circumstances apply to today's method of credit cards, as well as credit cards being able to be carried in your pocket easily and being able to be used online)
For NEM to be a big success, it needs to be super safe, super easy to use, able to fit in my pocket and be mobile (smart phone app), and be able to used easily on websites.
