Hello everyone. NEM has a huge potential and big community. We have catapult. But price of NEM is lower and lower. Why so? Why people don't want use NEM?

When regular people who pay with cash could use any cryptocurrency as that use credit cards and paper money then price will rise to heaven.

Currently there are same amount of people(cryptocommunity) who trade and use cryptocoins and there are overwhelmed with every day grow of new coins.

To many scams also affect in trust of crypto coins. Exchanges that goes hacked or closed with peoples invested money and high fees for trade.

Basicly we need wide adoption to masses who sold cheese, chicken eggs and grocery on market. They dont know what is XEM or any other crypto.

That's actually true. The overall crypto adoption has to rise (and is rising) to really see the actual value of the whole sphere. But there is no need for 10000 different coins or projects offering the same. Therefore its good to target specific markets that enable some good room to grow. NEM is doing great with all the very nice projects build on it and at the same time targeting different enterprise solutions for example

WeChat has much potential but they have newer strict policy on blockchain apps. NEM China team is working on good content for current WeChat NEM App so no air drops right now. We want to remain on WeChat and not get removed (like other apps have.) We move forward carefully.

The NEM community fund has had an overhaul. Smaller projects work on a grant basis with no need for voting, middling asks needs less PoI, the biggest have more stringent requirements.

Far more sensible overall.

After some thought about this subject, personally I'm ok with the current crypto sphere. Right now is the time to raise fiat which value can later then be transferred to good project in cryptocoins.

Once the honeymoon is over, the opportunity will be lost.

Which will it be, grassroot movements or the corporate world controlling the cryptoscene?

I welcome such small projects that target minorities or special regions using blockchain technology. Nevertheless, it addresses a rather small clientele and should therefore not have much impact on the entire NEM ecosystem.

So harvesting opportunities are “given” to individuals who hold huge amounts of NEM, right? Will that change people faraway from attempting to be harvesters? If there’s a great deal of other coin online games in town- and there are- why would a person choose to harvest NEM when they might not be chosen for most harvests?

Look at the number of ICO coming out on XEM. There are very few of them today. I think as soon as the catapult is fully ready, the number of ICO will grow at times and then the price for XEM will also have to go up. I hope I'm not mistaken ...

Nope.

That's the point of proof of importance over proof of stake. The most useful and active accounts get the most rewards, not the biggest balances. I dunno if they're excluding exchanges. Since there are very few fees to go around it's kind of moot at the moment. It's not a busy chain.

NEM quite frankly is focussing on building a frame work for multi layer blockchain sollution whereas others have tunnel vission. Right now developer onboarding is occuring significantly with blockchain centres being set up around the world also.

I agree! NEM is one of the potential e-currency leaders in the community. Market fluctuations and NEM's not so popular in the market have made NEM prices not high. Therefore, I think promoting the promotion and offering solutions to attract the attention of the community to the NEM is very necessary now!

Yes. It's an on chain asset. It can be a token, currency, whatever you want it to be. They really should've just called it a NEM token. Dunno about the messaging bit.

I tried to withdrawal Xem from Binance to Nano Wallet. My XEM adress is with hyphen inside. However the binance support said it should be without hyphen. Please help me to understand what is the correct adress?
