Nobody has yet to create a thread on the NEM forum about the total number of NEM. Are we happy with 4 billion?  no need for discussing the total number of NEM, it was designed in the beginning , and everyone accept it. |

I've talked to several people about it in person and they keep saying they don't care how many NEM there are. Thus if someone cares, they should create a thread and poll on forum.nemcoin.com and get things decided before launch. Otherwise there are no plans to change the number. As an aside, 8 billion NEM will likely have a larger marketcap than 4 billion NEM, because of how human psychology works. |

As an aside, 8 billion NEM will likely have a larger marketcap than 4 billion NEM, because of how human psychology works. I don't understand what you meant here unless you meant individual NEM would have a cheaper price and this would compel people to buy more. This is a regularly brought up complaint about Bitcoin where people are complaining they can't even afford just the one Bitcoin. |

Remember we are hitting the man on the street and not us here in the forum. Unlike us who visit this place often, they don't give a damn about what's written here in the forum and they don't want to be confused with all sorts of acronyms. Let's be real guys. |
