I like the concept. I think the more things that become decentralised the better. It's the greedy fees that corporations take that will kill them in the end.

Looks extremely promising!
I assume there will be some sort of built-in escrow service to protect against fraud.

We need a decentralized exchange as well. I'm not sure if anyone is working on that though (might be, but keeping it a secret).

I can see a lot of people are saying OpenBazaar is promising and they are excited etc etc. Can someone please give me the logical explanation of why they think an open & unregulated P2P marketplace be successful ? It'll be a scammers heaven IMO. Marketplace need to have consumer protection in place for the real world to accept it... except u r talking about illegal goods.

Nxt lacks the adoption and security BTC offers. No thanks.

The donation scheme looks awfully like a ponzi scheme.

So you come to the Bitcoin section to promote an altcoin right? Nobody here cares about that. People should try and support OpenBazaar, and even help with the development if they can. This should help the system overall and reduce the amount of scams. From what I know it should be released in Q4 this year?

I really like this idea. I am not sure how long it will take to pull some significant numbers away from epay-bay but I will definitley support it.
Everybody is tired of epay shits and seeking a way out, these kind of innovations are always along the way as we go,A full hands on to this thing

I think selling shares will be much better than asking for donations. Times have changed. Not many people are willing to donate for such ventures, after the failure of similar projects in the past. Why don't you sell a 10% or 20% stake using any of the crypto-exchanges, such as Cryptostocks?

Outcomes of too many scams in bitcoin community.

If you are a seller here or anywhere else it is pretty easy to set up an escrow service. I keep an amount deposited equal to all of my inventory that buyers can file a claim against. I of course don't plan for it to ever be needed, but if I were hospitalized or worse my buyers have a way to recover funds if I were unable to ship. It is a nice back up for natural disasters as well. For now that is the best way to gain trust in this scammer filled economy.
