I think something funny is going on with my pc. A few other wallets are doing the same thing. Refusing connections. Why all of a sudden ? I guess I should check my security settings.

-connect gives higher priority to the IPs specified and will only try connecting to them. -addnode adds the IPs to the list of peers (of which there could already be hundreds or thousands)

Generally you'd only use -connect if there's an issue and you want to force a connect to a certain set of IPs.

If you're getting connection refused messages then it's possibly something like a firewall. Check both your PC and your router. Fix that problem and your HYP one will probably go away.

Thanks I will give this a try. I'm having issues with many of my wallets. hald work just fine the other half all do the same thing. Connection refused. All was fine till a few days ago. Could this be a DNS setting ? I use a DNS to stream hulu. perhaps I should reset my line and reconfigure my DNS or perhaps turn the DNS setting off and see. I'll let you guys know how it turns out,

Edit: I didn't type the right name for the .config file -_- The issue is resolved.

Hey guys ! I have come into a problem. I finally have waited the minimum amount of coin age. Now the problem is it says my coins are not minting. I'm a bit annoyed after waiting for so long to finally meet minimum age and now I get this. I just want to stake and make some coin over here. I have 19k coins staking together I know that they reccomend 10-20k so it should be fine. What is going on please help me ?

Hover your mouse over the staking icon and it should tell you why it is not staking.

If you have one (19k HYP) transaction in wallet , you get one stake average in 30-40 days.

That's what people don't understand. It takes more than just staking. People need to trade, that's why it lost its place on Polo because people weren't willing to trade. Anyone that say otherwise, has no clue about market dynamic as a whole. Once it lost its listing, it also lost access to the available liquidity of the market on the exchange.

Now that it is on a smaller exchange, there just isn't enough liquidity unless it gets back on Polo or Bittrex and even if it does, people have to understand and be willing to trade to support the HYP market. Other services will also be needed to make use of the coin. Otherwise, it will just be another meandering community, that hasn't a clue. The thing is, HYP is actually a better coin in terms of both functionally consistent with a reliable dev. Unlike other coins that are just cut and paste crap.

There's definitely opportunity with the right community behind it. I'm always a market maker in HYP and will continue to do so.
