Hi BTCD community,
I've said this before and will say it again. I am very intrigued by this coin and the projects it has going on. I do have a serious question though, and if someone can give me an answer, I would greatly appreciate it.
I read elsewhere that this coin has a 1.5% premine that is for development purposes. Is that true? If so, then why do the devs need to raise more money for development, as seen on the OP? This is somewhat puzzling to me and I wanted to know if there was a good explanation for it. Thanks in advance.
the premine total was around 20,000 BTCD and it has already been spent. I think it brought in a whopping 3 BTC at the time as during the PoW phase, the price of BTCD was very low Also, I joined the coin about a week after launch and it is my fault for needing dev budget as I am making many new work for GUI guys and I dont do GUI James +++1 Absolutely right, We must to help for completion of projects. Holders of BTCD should be pay the amount of its share. And don't forget you will also get NXTprivacy asset for donating there is some confusion. I am matching other people's donations with NXTprivacy asset. so this is not like purchasing NXTprivacy for the donation. It is a pure donation, just that it gets "doubled" with NXTprivacy assets Now, one problem is that NXTprivacy is ~14 NXT and BTCD seems to have become some sort of rocketship so soon I wont be able to match. with current around 1000 BTCD raised, that is 14000 NXTprivacy assets to match. I cannot go above 25000 total NXTprivacy. At this rate, without any new donations, this limit will be gone quite soon... I want to be clear that I have never received any BTCD for my codings. I am first self-made NXT millionaire (not from IPO or buy low, sell high) as I created asset values of over 100 million NXT. I sold majority to investors (they are quite happy too), but I did keep enough, so money is not something that I worry about anymore. I am doing this not for money and I have asked that the small amount of BTCD that I was offered way back in the beginning when I first joined to be given to BTCDdev. I want him to have as much BTCD as possible! So, please donate some small portion, doesnt matter how small so we can pay for GUI devs, website devs, etc. and hopefully use to get more help to make BTCD even better. I am only one guy and only so much I can do Thanks! James ok sorry missed that one understood donations are doubled.

Regarding BlackCoin's latest features, has anyone checked it out? I understand they have a multicoin client with Bitcoin and Blackcoin.

Maybe a bit more significant is that we just debugged the BTCDcore/libjl777 interface that supports SuperNET pubaddr propagation. So now I am finally able to continue debugging the SuperNET/Teleport combo.
I have two different servers each establishing contact with each other. This gets us able to test most of the scenarios and much more realistic than loopback. After this is working, then it will be down to 3+ nodes for the onion routing
I like to take one step at a time. Will be mostly debugging this weekend so wont post so much. MGW servers are offline as I am debugging

I made libjl777.so This makes it so we can upgrade the SuperNET services without rebuilding the BitcoinDarkd, at least I think it does. I am not so good at linkers so this is new territory for me.
Since the SuperNET/Teleport is not making any blockchain changes, there no hardfork from upgrading it and with all the continuous additions that are expected, I think it is worth making it separately upgradable.
Still have the restriction of only a single instance

how do i put in an order for one of the btcd anon cards? if orders havnt started yet, any idea when they will?
No orders yet, the details are still being worked out. If you follow this thread, you'll know when they're ready to order following intently! Yeah, me too. If this really works as intended it could be an aweomse fiat bridge. I'm interested to see if these anon cards work in the US. Federal law currently requires verification of social security number for purchasing reloadable prepaid debit cards. As a result, the best anon card I know of right now in the US is to buy a non-reloadable $500 visa gift card with cash. Requiring identity verification to put our own hard-earned cash onto a reloadable card is obviously an absurd violation of our right to privacy.......Oh well, that's just the way it goes in the land of hypocrisy I guess. The sad part is if this (dark crypto) industry gets huge, as is expected, laws will change to require id for even non-reloadable cards in the US...sad

What's happening with 1200 BTCD given to Bitcoinprbuzz? There was one press release one month ago, that was just ACCESSWIRE paid press release, this is what shitcoins use to get into yahoo and make a false big deal of it.. Nobody cares about these scam-paid PRs. I was offering some real marketing, to spend 40 hours in the planes to talk during my speech about Teleport in China Bitcoin Expo, maybe hand out some flyers ot chinesse investors/journalists, talk about BTCD with some most influencal people in the crypto world at the event, because this topic says: "Bounty Opportunities". I have all sources prepared now thanks to my 2-days works on http://www.coinssource.com/supernets-coin-offering-raises-over-2000-bitcoins-hours/, but nobody decided to support this offer

I have all sources prepared now thanks to my 2-days works on http://www.coinssource.com/supernets-coin-offering-raises-over-2000-bitcoins-hours/, but nobody decided to support this offer First of all, the 1200 BTCD paid to BitcoinPRbuzz was from my own personal BTCD funds. (**edit** they've only received half so far) Secondly, I made this deal with them at a time when we had no real media presence and were still relatively unknown. You and I we're in contact at this time discussing the possibility of doing media work for BTCD and then you just disappeared. After the first PR we we were working on releasing the 2nd, however during that time bitcoinprbuzz had some attack issues and then after we re-established communication a lot had changed with Supernet and such and we decided to change the substance of the 2nd PR to be primarily about Supernet and BTCD. It will be released within a few days. It would definitely be an understatement to say that I've been happy with the service they've provided so far, but considering our recent communication and the chance to enhance the value of their BTCD stake, they certainly have incentive to make things right. Official donations we've raised so far are being used to primarily fund the technical features that are soon to be released. Tomorrow, we will be releasing a full break-down of how the current donations will be paid out. After the first wallet release with the new features, we'll be able to shift gears and allocate a large portion of donation funds for promotion efforts.

no..... just another pump dump. can't see anything unique about it. I would echo Pondsea's comment and say invest in LTCD at your own risk. It seems to being trying to leverage off the success of BTCD and I can see nothing that would differentiate this coin from anything else. In short, I think its a pump and dump and folks are gonna get burned.

Sure looks like BTCD is hammered down to control unity price, at the same time NXT only goes up...
James, please make sure UNITY/BTCD and UNITY/NXT pairs are open on BTER from the first second of trading UNITY. There will be profit taking and in order to get cheaper UNITY a lot of people might think it is OK to sell some BTCD at that point...
