Thank you for the update, Richard, some nice gems in your post.

Quote
we are investigating is adding I/O Coin to an online service where you can buy I/O Coin with EURO, USD, POUNDS, Swiss Franc and Polish Zloty

This would be fantastic, there are so many people who have difficulties in buying bitcoin then buying IOC from an exchange.  Having the ability to buy straight from Fiat, would be a huge boost, very excited about this news.

Quote
A Dutch weekly video report about Bitcoin has asked us if we want to be interviewed on their show. All about blockchain development.

This would be great!  Once again helping to spread the word of I/O Coin to the masses.

Quote
We are talking to many people / businesses that want to join our blockchain / use a sidechain for their services. When we talk to these people we discover that DIONS is really one of a kind 'functionality'

Remember IOC investors, DIONS is One of a Kind, not only that, it is a fantastic leap forward, i can see many businesses using the IOC blockchain / sidechain not long after it is released.

It is clear to see the IOC team are working hard, really hard to help this coin grow into a top 10 coin. For now anyone who has invested, you can help too, by staking your coins every day, let's keep above 60% staking.

NOTE: All new investors here check out the First Post.  The I/O Coin Opening Post is beautiful, this is how professional business people work.  Unlike 99% of other threads, that either keep moving or have basic info.

I/O Coin is the BEST. Make no mistake about that.

Missing coins

Hi, it seems I've lost some coins.. to explain what happened, so someone can hopefully help me out:

I've installed the HTML wallet on Win 7, bought some IOC and sent them to wallet. Then I planned to reinstall OS, so I've backuped my wallet.dat, reinstalled OS (Win 10), redownloaded and installed wallet, restored my wallet.dat and let the wallet sync completely. Everything OK so far.

I discovered that I have a new address in my wallet (which I haven't created before). So I decided to take off the remaining coins from Bittrex to my wallet -- and sent them to this new address (my mistake here, I presume). The coins never arrived to my wallet:

I've looked up the address on block explorer and the coins are there, but not in my wallet.

That all happened about 18 hrs ago (thought that it might be something on Bittrex's side, but doesn't seem like it).

Any ideas? I'm seriously confused and obviously a bit annoyed :]

The only way you would have a new address , is if you have a new wallet.

The wallet you have now only has this one new address, right? Meaning it is a new wallet.

But even still, if you sent coins to this new address, they should appear.  The only way the would not appear is if the wallet was not fully synched.

You say, you re-downloaded the html5 wallet and replaced the new wallet.dat with your saved one. But if that was the case, your old addresses would be there.

Somehow, the old wallet.dat was not entered into the new wallet. (as you can see from the screenshot)

The only explanation for coins not showing up, would be the new wallet not having a fully loaded block chain.

Can you post a picture of the wallet with the latest block number please. (hover your mouse cursor over the icon to tell you what block it is on)

PS: A note to everyone, The wallets have not been tested on Windows 10 yet.  So not a good idea to install them on Win10  before the IOC team has said they work fine and it is good to use with windows 10.

I downloaded the new wallet, but imported my backed-up wallet.dat. I can see my old address (with correct amounts of IOC; I cropped it out for privacy), but also the new address appeared..

Wallet is indeed fully synced:

Good Morning everyone, hope you are all well.  Wanted to give you all a quick update on what we are up too.

The wallet design and implementation is coming along real nice. We added an extra feature to our DIONS project and it's all being implemented into the wallet as we speak. We are looking to show our community our new wallet design and dions screenshots for our 1 year birthday on July 23rd 2015. We have tested DIONS extensively over the course of 5 months so our task now is to make sure our new wallet system is flawless as can be. Shortly after that we will begin testnet of our new wallet and release DIONS, again DIONS is ready we are now down to the wallet.

Im excited to announce that our PR campaign starts tomorrow. We have been hard at work getting our press release ready.  We hope to reach out to as many people as we can to inform them of our awesome blockchain project.  Im sure when you read our press release you will learn some of the things we are going to be focusing on over the next few months.  Exciting stuff indeed.

Once our press release is out we will be available to answer questions, we hope everyone enjoys the read.

As always we may be quiet, but we are not in the hyping camp. We work hard and deliver. I do however want to keep everyone informed as much as I can. I continue to be very proud of our hard working team.

This is something, i'm sure, we have all been waiting for, really excited about this.

1 year birthday on July 23rd

I/O Coin has developed more 'new' technology than most coins put together who have been around for this length of time.

PR campaign starts tomorrow
Which is today.  Looking forward to seeing a nice and professional Press Release explaining the current  developments.

Keep up the great work IOC Team.

Awesome job and thanks for the Google Hangouts as well. This project has flown under the radar for far too long and deserves more exposure.
