Hey guys,

as I wrote earlier, I'd like to run my IOC wallet on dedicated linux machine to stake 24/7 for the sake of network safety (ofc *wink*), but no official linux wallet is available yet.

Someone mentioned that someone else managed to run their wallet under linux -- can anyone point me to the right direction?
I'd highly appreciate that!

You do not have  a windows or mac you could run your wallet on?   I dont think there is a linux wallet now. 

I know there isn't linux wallet, that's why I asked. And yes, I do have a Win/Mac machine, but that isn't running 24/7 and I can hardly get any stake rewards for the time it is on..

Always great to be able to have a computer running 24/7 when staking. 

I have my machine running from around 7am to 10pm.  And my staking reward is good. My coins are well matured though and i do have quite a lot.
So to get more staking rewards, have more coins    Cheap at this price also!

Important notes:

Transfer the ownership of digital assets and validate that the receiver owns it.  The blockchain validates the transaction on its public ledger.
Decentralized, peer to peer trust.  Without a middle man.
EG: Concert Tickets. Property, Music rights, film rights, bonds, Identity.

Why storing files on the blockchain is important.

You can store many files types on the Blockchain: Pdf, Audio, images, doc, video ect...

Why is storing files on the Blockchain compelling?

The blockchain provides a data base, that enables you to upload a file and prove that it exists and is timestamped. Once the file is on the blockchain you can confirm it has not been tampered with.



I/O Coin realised before 90% of all other alts the importance of creating Blockchain and sidechain technology.  This is the future and all those other alts not working on Blockchain tech are going to be left in the dust of many alts that will be worthless.

I have been looking around other threads. Esp the coins that are doing really well on bittrex and other exchanges.  
It is clear to see, I/O Coin is a lot more open and genuine than others.


Many coins can not even get the basics right, like getting their wallet to work or be stable and most only have simple Windows QT wallets.   But they do have loyal holders and they don't have people trying to dump this coin  (from other coins) like I/O Coin clearly has.

If I/O Coin was playing on a "level" playing field it would be 50k sats by now, easily.  

IOC has always had secure and reliable wallets , it even created the FIRST ever HTML5 wallet, if any other coin done this it would hve created FOMO all over the place, when IOC released HTML wallet, it got dumped.

IO Coin is transparent from day 1.  You know who the people are behind it, unlike 80% of the other coins. It is even creating another first with DIONS More on that here on Yahoo Finance: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/o-digital-release-worlds-first-194800618.html

IOC is giving people real developments and real innovation, clearly many people in crypto don't understand this, as they get all excited by some new algo or Piggy backed web browser style wallet.

NOTE: I/O Coin is here to stay and it will continue to be developed and create even more real innovation in the digital currency age.  I hope more people will join this community and come along for this fantastic journey, because mark my words. IOC will outlast any alt coin!

New! I/O DIGITAL HTML5 Wallet Teaser & Updated RoadMap

This new HTML wallet is going to be the First Ever in Crypto History people!  

A little info for people who do not understand what they are looking at, which is fair enough, because this type of wallet has never been created before.
Again I/O Coin showing true innovation and forward thinking developments.

Questions:

Q: Is this a web based wallet like NTX, SDC or CIRC ?

NO!  (wash your mouth out with soap!)

The new IOC wallet is HTML with Java front end.   It has a wallet.dat file so you can safely store your wallet in cold storage.  
"wallets" like NXT ask you to log into a web browser basically and all the information is stored on a server! Which is nowhere near as secure as having your passphrase stored on your wallet.dat. Plus, the new HTML wallet information is stored on the Blockchain.

Q: Is this wallet just piggy-backing on the old QT ?

A: NO!  This wallet has Nothing to do with QT  (other than it has a wallet.dat file).  It is a brand new, never seen before, HTML wallet. Built from scratch!  Thus, explaining the time it has taken to develop and add the extra features.

Q: What are these extra features you mention?

A: Upload your photo to the new wallet. Well, look in the top right, you see an image. You can Replace this image with your own image or any other image.

Q: Why would  i want to upload my photo?

A: Because this wallet feature a twitter like messaging service ,fully decentralized and once again info stored on the blockchain.  So when you uplaod your image to the wallet, people can see who they are talking with, this gains trust among peopleand will be useful in the future when (IF) the wallet includes a 'trading/buy and sell' service.


QUESTION FOR WALLET DEV:  Can you also add other information to the wallet. Like email? Twitter address, facebook address or linkedIN address? (again this would be ideal for people to know who someone actually is)

Q: Can I stake this new IOC wallet?

A: Yes, look at the image above and you will see a nice Green Button top right to ENABLE STAKING. Just as secure (or maybe more) as the old QT wallets.

Q: I see a Tab on the left  "BUY I/O Coin will i be able to buy IOC directly from the wallet?

A:  Good Question! Wallet Dev would need to answer this. But for now i think this section will contain links to al of the exchanges and places where you can buy IOC.


Summary.  I think i have covered the most obvious questions. If anyone here has any other Questions about this new and groundbreaking wallet.  Post them here.

ppl selling 50k 200k plus this level are not going to be able buy back much coins later. volume historically has been decreasing daily for weeks yet staking is rising. theres a time when day trading and volume of the coin comes into play , but even the rise to 16k is within the boundaries of accumulation, mark my words. this coin is dirt cheap and that sell side is ripe for the taking. Dumps will easily b absorbed from here on out.

They are not selling...looks like suppression for buying more cheap now.
