There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Do newly purchased Genesis at $7.99 get the 50% boost?
Nope. It's worded confusingly enough to make it sound like they might, but you should know better by now All Genesis Hashlets Owners Get a 50% HashPower Increase For a short time, Hashlet Genesis can be bought for just $7.95 per 10GH/s as part of the promotion Edit: https://hashtalk.org/topic/8476/genesis-customers/22GAW_CEO @GAW_CEO Please confirm, Do the NEW $7.95 Genesis we are buying right now also get the 50% boost to 15 GH for each
$7.95 for 10 GH

This is the most confusing claim so far today: https://hashtalk.org/topic/8483/hashlet-selling-methodsThe reason we are using the Buy Back Program for Hashlet Primes is to start buying them out of circulation. This means that GAW will buy them back and not re-release them. We are going to start decreasing the amount of Primes in the wild to make them more valuable. But as far as I can see Primes are still for sale and will remain so according to this: https://hashtalk.org/topic/8471/introducing-the-hashlet-storeHashlet Primes will Remain $50 Each!

I'm really considering converting my two Ant S3's into Genesis hashlets and then putting those up for sale. Considering 475 Gh/s average that would be 950 Gh/s and thus 95 Genesis hashlets of 10 Gh/s. Which would (when selling for 7 USD each) give back 665 USD.
While they're selling they'll make a bit more revenue and I could just sell half of them for example instead of having to sell the S3 at once (if that's ever possible) or have it ship to me with additional shipping costs.

So what's this company called LTCGear, they give you 20% weekly when gawminers only gives 7%. Why aren't people going with them instead, after reading the reviews and their 300 page thread.. They seem like the better investment and trouble free unlike gawminers.
Different buy in options are Gaws advantage here.

It might be a good idea. When I bought mine I was really hoping for a stable $600 bitcoin. You may call me a weak hand but when I see the charts I feel the need to just hold the coins instead of a miner, so I can push the bailout button if this goes the wrong way.
Well, if you'd be selling the Genesis' for 8-9 USD a piece, with a low BTC rate you'd get more BTC in hand. Once it goes up you reinvest those BTC in Genesis again. Would it now rise to 600 USD you'd be very happy to sell with a low BTC rate. You would probably not earn as much with mining in the meantime

weird i cant go to website i get error message 1st i was getting certificate error, now i am just plain out getting 404 error code. I wonder if they changed the site link with this update they rolled out? Maybe the site is just down from so much taffic of people buying up new offers since i know they mentioned new price on genesis. I really wish SOMEONE FROM GAW who reads the forums as previous post say you do. PLEASE PLEASE update the pricing of hashlets on the gawminers website. I BUY MY STUFF FROM GAWMINERS WEBSITE DIRECT, not from zencloud site so please fix the price issue on hashlets to be same price as zencloud website. I mean it is same product after all owned by same person right so please just fix it

Remember when Josh said that Primes would not be for sale about a month ago (around the introduction of the pool specific hashlets)? He did stop selling them for a few days, but here we are again. If he does actually stop selling them then that is good for current Prime owners, but without them being on the marketplace it is quite difficult for a fair price to be established.

I tried to play around with some of the new features and it looks about as half-assed as usual. The "market" doesn't look anything like a normal exchange-type marketplace, i.e. you don't see buy orders (demand), you only see sell orders (supply). You can't see price per MH/s, and can't sort by that obviously. You can't use the pool amp on a prime that is placed for sale. Which kind of contradicts the promise to mine until it's actually sold. You can use boost though but not second pool. And the error message doesn't even say that, you kind of have to figure that out by trial and error. I bought some Genesis hashlets to test out the market but I can't put them there - the "gear" button is missing. There is not a single Genesis hashlet listed for sale, so apparently I'm not the only one having the issue. Great announcement. Can't wait for the next one. Please add more non-functional features. Edit: this bug sounds quite nasty: https://hashtalk.org/topic/8630/market-not-working-correctly-big-issue-be-aware

Got lucky when the primes first came out and have sold off a few to break even. I can't sell my remaining ATM since it says I'm not allowed. Zeushash and LTCGear and Genesis have the advantage right now. I don't care about btc anymore, I want other coins. I want ltc at the very least. Having to log in every 12 hours just to boost my device is stupid. Mining should be simple and plug and play.

i dont even know where do i need to get that extra boost they mention. unless i missed something i thought they had option to double dip pools now on the hashlets. I want to make it clear i am not talking about primes so if that is what they was referring to please let me know as i may have misunderstood.
