There are no coins, there are no first round investors, there are no banks, no stores, no nothing. Zilch.

The trick this round is to go after rounds 3 and rounds 4 and accelerate them. What more than likely see is an accouncement that round one with the mysterious investors was a resounding success. Sold in the first 30 seconds !!!

A monster success so much so that they want to buy everything else, but we for the people told them they cannot, we must sell to our loyal miners and the public as we gave our word. So guys you need to get your wallets out today we promised the first round investors 24 ours to allow us to sell to you. In fact we need to bypass the hashpoint round and go straight to the 10 dollar and 20 dollar FIAT rounds. In fact time is so much of the essence we will accelerate the public 20 dollar round to the day after the 10 dollar invite round. We will do even better we will reduce it to 15 dollars in case you guys want to buy even more. Hurry hurry, step right in......

The some weeks will go by and a huge regret annoucement will be made, nay a brand new wesbite and domain will surface with the clown Josh Garza's face pegged all over it ' so sorry guys we were totally misled the investors who gobbled up the first round did not in fact have any money, we are suing them, we are suing our bankers who introduced them' ' we were totally duped'.... but do not fear dear gawfucks. We just created a brand new gawminer, the gashitlets and goofgaw zen dungdropings.......hashing at 850 Mh/s and we will immediately convernt your 10 and 15 dollar hard cash investments in to these !!! I am your saviour, Josh Garza Magic Man of The Crypto Era !!1

Well, there´s always the .001% possibility that Uncle Sam´s Mob owned "regulators" somehow disrupt this likely script.

Sounds like a great plan. All I see is 850 MH/s. Can I skip straight to that part? How many hashpoints is that?

The formula for Bitcoin’s block rewards appears as follows:

                Rh = R0 * 2 -[h/p]

                h = get block height
                p = designated reward halving period
                R0 = first block reward of blockchain
                Rh = reward for block h
                [ ] = leading/trailing baseline function

HashCoin modifies this formula to provide a smoother declination process for the block rewards ensuring the mining benefits through the growth of the coin.

                Rh = 4/3 ( Rh - ( Rh * h mod p / 2p )

Why would you have the variable you are solving for on both sides of the equation?

So one computes the reward for a block by already knowing the reward for the block at two other points in the calculation?

Circular reasoning doesn't work in logic, why would it suddenly work in math?

It isn't circular reasoning, it is just code.   For example to increment a value it can be written like this:

value = value + 1

The "=" can be read as "is replaced by" then it should make more sense to you.    This type of operation is very common in programming languages and is fine for pseudo code.

Just watching the q&a with these Geniuses at Work. Good grief, it is not longer funny it is down right sad.  This is one bumbling idiot who's lack of confidence reeks through out the internet. So...you know..so..so...you know...so. you know mumbling and bumbling with waffle talk about nothing. This is some low rent lower tier operation they got going. Shocking and but not surprising, whole superficial flighty drivel fantasy dreamers. Any real business and any real bank would have security throw this inept clan out the door. Pathetic.  This is going no where. Cute how the inner circle all parrot one another with so... then that hideous indvidial on the remote camera where ever, slips in his so's as well, clearly a plant despite him gushing that he got an autographed shirt from Josh Garza as to make as if he is independant of them.

Whole thing is just a sad joke.

Anyone watching the scripted MtGAW Q&A right now??

I kinda fell back to sleep after hearing some nonsense about MtGAW buying 4+ more companies, contractual code names with the code, monster merchant deals, private first rounds of investment, etc etc etc blaaaaaah...

Thermal dynamics if mining rewards??... haaaa... too complicated for Mr. CEO to explain??

Seriously, are ANY of these guys for real?

It is sad but you have to think about how much money they must be paying everyone to stay quiet, they can't afford or risk getting more polished people in there.

Man, you really have some bias since you got booted from HT.  Do you honestly think that CEOs should know the inner workings of the code of their products?  Do you know who Michael Abrash and John Carmack are?  You think their bosses have any idea of the formulas they use to get things done?

I'm not sold on this coin yet.  I have no choice but to mine the hashpoints and see what happens.  Zen Pool pays nothing now.  As someone posted elsewhere, even if Hash Coin debuts at $1 per, it's still more profit than mining the Zen Pool.

Oddly enough, the answer to the thermodynamics question was a good one.  If they had simply stated that in the damn "whitepaper" they wouldn't have come across as so stupid.  It's also a nice addition to the coin.  No more halvings in the traditional sense.
