If by "hub" you do mean switch, then yes, you can have a switch behind another switch. Yes, you are correct, it is a switch. Ok, good to know, I'll go pick up another one, thanks. I use a plugwize system to monitor power usage I neglected to clarify that I could not find an affordable meter for 240volt US plug style that is cheap, I did find a few (like you linked) for Euro-style plugs. They mass product the us kill-a-watt. You bolded the wrong part of my quote, it's the 240 volt that's the kicker. KAW is only 120v, and I have 2 of them also. For example, I found this 240v one which I could use, but it's $90 and I'd have to split open my nice an tidy 10ga cable and mount the meter to the wall, not sure it's worth all that.

Maybe use the Euro-plug one if cheap travel adapter is available? DX.com for example has cheap travel adapters. I ordered one from there as I needed a US->Euro adapter for RaspPi's psu.

Europe electricity is at 50Hz, USA is at 60Hz, so I don't believe the meter wouldn't read correctly anyways.

Europe electricity is at 50Hz, USA is at 60Hz, so I don't believe the meter wouldn't read correctly anyways. Actually some meters have a feature which measures the network frequency and takes it into account. There is though a lot of different kind of meters available like for example this comparison of the products available in Finland shows. http://www.hiit.fi/files/admin/publications/Technical_Reports/hiit-tr-2009-1.pdfOf course taking notice if the device is approved to be used both in 50 and 60Hz is reasonable. For example Velleman NETBSE M2Velleman includes the best package of functions. It can display all typical figures, but also power factor, network frequency, and the maximum load. The device was very accurate on all regular loads. The errors for reactive loads and consumption were excellent .....

I found a use for my S2 case. Just another miner 6x 7970 HIS Iceq * Also great rig :-) Awesome rig but... the card are quite close... i think thank you I think too, but I added the fan delta 4000 rpm behind so it helps to cool the rig and remove temperature heat

Part of my Titan setup (have 2 more cubes/controller at other side of basement) lostgonzo.imgur.comReally recommend the workbench setup with the closet shelves added.....Sam's club ...about 200 bucks. Also had some old 'glass tops' from dressers..that work just dandy to keep the boards cool etc etc for stuff to sit on) skip the link above if you've seen this before still mining thou (a frigging asic miracle orig unit 17 months at 730mh 14c kwh and 3000 watts w/gen trakin 3rd party titan firmware) STILL getting below 30 days 220.81359375 LTC 839.09 USD Total 302.40 USD Electric 536.69 USD Profit Go Figure

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

I wish I worked in an industrial setting like that, I would have "heaters" all over the place! Ja. Only drawback is that come summer that ~4kw of heat will then have to be removed from the area via the AC. Come then, I'l just move them to the where the rest of the farm is at and don't impact the AC costs as much. Worked great over the winter mostly due to the not-too warm gentle breeze from the s5. With overnight building temp turned down to 65F the laser was still in operating range of 73-75 come turn-on in the morning so zero-warm up time needed

Hi, here is my mine, atm there are some miners in maintenance, but i'm very happy with this. Oh shit. That escalated quickly! I LOVE the amount of kill-a-watts, looks like you can see watts of everything running? (possibly). Very nice setup though. Can I ask what cards are those on GPU's and what are you getting on speed for ETH (I'm assuming ).

I have 2x Alcheminer 256Mhs and a 1x Sfards SF100 more, but they don't fit right know and they are on maintenance and seeking another place for them, hehe. All rigs are using the http://ethosdistro.com/ and it is very easy to use.

I've never done it, but I believe you can go 6 deep, not that I ever would. I am two deep at this time for one miner in one room just because I haven't pulled it out yet.
I added another switch and now can run the Avalon6 and S5 together for 4.7TH. Good thing it's been cool the last few days, I haven't needed to use my heater at all.
