Anyone use duct hose to expel the heat from multiple S1-S2-S4-S5-S7 miners out a window? Looking for pictures/ideas. I know there must be someone that has done it.
suck better than blow ? Actually thinking about the same thing and will be heading to lowes tomorrow afternoon. I'll post an update when I get started. This is what I'm thinking. Lining up all the Sx's in a row, side by side and just cut a hole in the side of the duct host and put the miner output right in there. With a push from a small fan it should direct all the air flow right out or where I want it. Sorry for the terrible representation. Basically just need one long hose and some cheap thermal tape to close the gaps. Don't really care what it looks like.

Today we had our scheduled 3 month cleaning activity. Since we recently installed a high power pump on our cooling system, we decided to clean our dirty girls with horse-grade shampoo and industrial compressed air (life on the farm is very dirty). WARNING: DO NOT TRY THIS AT YOUR FARM!Before: After: Lots of bubbles: More pics at https://www.facebook.com/StartHash (Like!, Share!, Mine!)Wow, this difference between before and after is huge, good job, they look brand new again! I use a bottle of everclear. Works wonders! may i know how you clean the miners ? use compressed air to blow the dust then spray the electrical cleaner into it n blow again ? i have some really dusty miners !!! thx for sharing & nice setup.

I think you can use anything alcohol based to clean electrical circuits. Pure ethanol would work like a charm. However you should still unplug the device before cleaning it. What miners are you running and would you like to post pics of before and after? Would love to see them

As your diagram current shows, if there is any kind of blockage at the window, the FAN st the end of the duct will be "pushing" against the miner's exhaust. You really want the fan to "suck" the warm air out of the duct, rather than pushing cooler air into it. Where the fan is currently shown, you could close it off, so that the air would have to flow through the miners to get exhausted.

A good enough fan to create some air pressure sucking out is good for hotter days. Colder days can just reverse and get some heat inside.

Always remember: It is easier to pull a fluid (in this case air) than push it. Set your fans and such to pull the air.
This will also fix the problem of air pushing against the lowest miner (closest to your fan). Pulling will not be a problem as the fan speed on the top miner will limit the amount of air pulled through it.
Or better: Line your miners up on the sill with the exhaust fans pointing straight out. Also functions like a nice whole house venting fan.

Here is my triple blade gridseed Bought 3 pcbs and added some heatsinks and a box. Using a single usb on the back didnt work as well as i tought. And the red buttons was supposed to be used for switching each blade off. But i used cheap cables that started to melt. so im going to make a new backside soon.. Fancy !

Are u guys retarder LOL This is the stupidest setup I've seen in a while It's actually very clean as far as a GPU setup. I like the look of it. Only part is it does appear to be a little expensive on some of the special cases and such used. It's nice in my eyes to see these sometimes. Brings me back to a earlier day before asics.

Looks cleaner than anything I've ever set up. I wish I had some pics of the old rats nests I used to run. They were cool and worked fine but made from parts that were cheap as hell and the wires went in every direction. I never understood how people could spend so much time and money building perfect looking custom cases, but more power to them!

I was in such a hurry to sell cards on ebay I did not get pictures of all my rigs... sucks looking back. But by hurrying to ebay it gave me extra ROI, and I invested it in asics... so still a win. Just not near as many pictures as I wish I had.

Are u guys retarder LOL This is the stupidest setup I've seen in a while Not sure what you base your opinion on. What is it not to like ? Oldschool mining. All frames and systems are reused parts from my AMD DRK X11 mining operation back in the days. What changed is that now it is only Nvidia gpu:s running in it. Everything except gpu:s roi:d a long time ago. Are u guys retarder LOL This is the stupidest setup I've seen in a while It's actually very clean as far as a GPU setup. I like the look of it.
