My A6 in a spare room in the house, but it's quickly getting too warm to run it inside. Been running it only at night lately, but even that will stop soon. I might move it to the garage if I can find a clean way to run the ethernet cable. A Gekko stick and 6 nanofury sticks, just for fun.

i call them the "twins" almost finished while waiting for cpu to arrive. was testing if everything holds up & yes it does, no scrws were used on the risers & no cable ties were used for any of the cables. finally parts arrived, completed & tested they run nice, delivered to customer, added voltmeter to them as a little appreciation due to slight delay of cpu. side by side, almost 100% identical. *p.s: this is NOT an ad as per some fellow members claims it to be an ad without any evidence showing that it is & was claimed that i was spamming my ads across forums & threads* this is just to share my builds.

7x S9 thinking to buy more... This setup doesn't seem too smart to me unless there is some ventilation at the back. But what I see there is a wall. Where does fresh air come from? It won't help too much with keeeping the noise in check either. But prove me wrong...

Really impressed with all the pictures and i would like to hear what their expenses are and their returns so that it could inspire everyone to try out making these farms, till now i thought it was a big waste of time and energy to build one but i am amazed by how many have built a farm and still i am not convinced how much profit they are yielding with it.

I bought r9-270 cards back in litecoin's last pre-asic hurrah for ~$250ea and they have probably mined about $350/ea after electricity costs to this day, with frequent (or automatic) conversion to bitcoin (and/or withdrawn to pay bills), and still worth ~$100/ea making almost $1/day I bought gtx1070 cards in september for LBRY at about $680cad each and mined almost $200/ea within the first month. by now, theyve probably made about $500/ea after power costs and at daily conversion. they are still worth $400/ea and mining $>2/day I bought rx470 cards about 3 months ago at $300cad/ea, and probably made about $120/ea after power costs so far. the cards are still worth ~$220 and mining $1.50/day between the rx470 and gtx1070 cards i put about $2500 into hardware over the last 6 months, and have returned ~$700. nicehash estimates my yearly profit at around $2400-3600 depending on the always-fluctuating altcoin markets. So over the 2-3yr lifespan it should make a healthy (50%+ profit) quite easily - and acts as a bit of a hobby. It can easily take a few days to setup, and an hour or two every week to deal with updates and fixing errors oh, and the gtx1070 cards have SLI inside my gaming PC. so it makes for great gaming

I started with BTC way back in 2011 & had some cards left over & gave up on BTC mining a year ago!!! My 7970 & 5870 & 2 6950's mined 3 times their value & I put some into 2 380's which in 3 months got me a 390 8gig & I made a good profit too. Sold the 5870 & 6950's to help get the newer cards BTW. So far I make about $125 a month with the 380's & 390 Lookin to get another card in a week or so

What about the old stuff(GPU's)? will u sell them all ? usually you can. but right now a lot of stuff is making money still. I have r9-270x cards that are about 3yrs old, still making around $1/day each. once they stop making money at zec ill either sell them at $80ish each hopefully, or make keychains and pendants with them.
