I think that we need swap, stable wallet and change total supply to return btcmarket I use vps for staking ecc and my wallet stop sync all weeks
That is why I suggested programming a snapshot of the blockchain into the new wallet.. Done that way, there is no need to sync for everybody. The Lottoshares claim worked like a dream, dead coins (sharecoin etc) being claimed with their private keys only. yeah. im working on something like that. i will fix that issue soon. i have so many things that need to be coded right now just in general and i can only go so fast

Hi huige007I'm using the latest Mac wallet and syncing without problem, the network is definitely up. Perhaps stop and restart your wallet (may have to do so a few times). That has worked for me in the past. These blockchain problems should disappear with the new version planned. Happy New Year from the land down-under

taking in the comments of what the people have said about the lotterycoin snapshots and stuff. i am currently coding a system based off that lottercoin snapshots. we found that doing a snapshot using a file for coin balances from X spot and starting chain sync from there would be nice. but it is not realistic because people can just edit thier balances in the text file and the wallet will accept the false numbers as true causing problems.
so i am developing a system for an alternate way to download the blockchain from the last hardcoded check point ( i will start to put these in every 50k blocks now) that will result in a much quicker build of the chain from scratch. testing still needs to be done. will probably do that tonight or something

Dont worry, you are working a lot. When we do a change should be a good change risk is good in cryptoworld, but no always

I've never seen a takeover coin live well. Just let it die to release the fund it ocuppied plz. lol DMD Diamond is a comunity takeover at since januaray 2014 and we are a page 1 marketcap coin and very alive ecc can be also a success community takeover can be a success if done by a dedicated team i still hold my 100 mill ecc and watch u guys one thing u need to add is the group stake mechanism that make sure coins not endless split at minting check our codebase its a do not change value from original PPC code that most dev where afraid to touch and that is the reason why nearly no POS coin have working group stake

one thing u need to add is the group stake mechanism that make sure coins not endless split at minting
IMO Your group stake is not really the best solution, just means the smallest block amount is the same for everyone, when it comes time to stake, everyone that does not manually combine has the same # and causes them to have a lot more orphans. They still need to recombine higher than your group stake setting to mint well, so not a good option since they still need to manually combine to avoid excessive orphans. A Better option would be if you just quit splitting blocks below a certain number, this keeps everyone from having the same amount in their block number, and would be less orphans.

Nice too see the wallet up and running for this can finally update wallet. Having a sort of my old coins and seeing what around so far 5 out of 30 wallets have coins in them and seems some are actually still active compared to a lot I already know are vapour. Will be interesting to see if this come makes a come back from the take over and gets some notice and gets put on some good exchangers again. What markets are active with this coin now or is their no active markets right now?? is their any BTC or did this move over to LTC markets and sort of stuck in LTC world. Would be nice if someone can give me an update as still reading though thread.

Your Way makes No Difference as the person still has to Manually combine the coins, because if everyone is at the same low amount there is a massive amount of orphans, you can talk like you know all of the answers, but sorry it is apparent you don't. If someone receives micropayments , they will have to manually combine , just like they still have to with your groupstake. Your GroupStake Feature is Worthless. See you finally got that Red Ink from being untrustworthy removed from under your name. Guess you will not be asking for fake trust ratings anymore. FYI: Found 1 of your old Post with your Red still showing
