FAQ
Q:My wallet isnt syncing ive been stuck on the same block for a while now. what do i do?
A: there are a few known hiccups when syncing the block chain and a general area i am currently refering to as the "rough patch". if you get stuck when syncing during the rough patch then you need to close and reopen the wallet.
Know block problems:
86400, first PoS block. you need to restart the wallet.
86900 (ive only seen this block get stuck on windows wallets. but it happens almost every time. you will need to restart the wallet
"Rough Patch" between blocks 86400 and roughly ~ 120,000 you may expirience one or two times where the wallet will stop syncing, you may need to restart the wallet to continue syncing.

Q: It shows complete transactions but i have no balance?
A: open your wallet, go to help > debug window > console > and type "repairwallet" without the "" and it should fix your wallet

Q: i cant sync past block 249,999
A: you need to update to the 2.1 Fix, there was a small bug in the code that froze the network at block 249,999. it is fixed in that 2.0 fix

Thanks for taking the coin over!

It looks like both wallet links are for 1.6, is there a 1.7?

All the best and keep moving forward Smiley

i had an issue with the new (1.7ish) release,

ok. 1.6 wasn't synching and i dLed the upgrade, backed-up and installed in the usual way, and it appeared to synch. then i made a new address and used it to withdraw from mintpal. the next time i looked at the wallet it is out of synch, and coins did not arrive.  no prob at minty, hmm, then i noticed that all the labels that i had made for other addys previously were gone, and so was the new address. repairwallet returned some missing, but not the withdrawal, labels or address. made a switch and started it with - salvagewallet, no difference! so i deleted everything except wallet.dat and the .log, next morning everything was back where it was supposed to be  Smiley

i only write this to mention that there was some trouble  Wink

Do you guys have a link to a working Mac wallet? No dice on the link above. This is what I'm getting:

Check with the developer to make sure ECCoin-Qt works with this version of OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and OS X.

Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.

i have herd of this bug. once you download the new wallet you will need to resynch the wallet (remove all the files in the roaming folder except the wallet.dat) and this should fix that problem. i have had multiple people message me on this problem, i will update the first post accordingly to give instructions on how to fix. if you read the post 2 up from yours. you will see this person had the same problem and you can see how they fixed it. if you have tried this i will need more information from you such as what exchanges you were trading on and such

hostmaster is no longer doing dev for this coin. i will work on getting a new multipool for it though. and i will remove that part of the OP

what antivirus do you use? i know some flag all bitcoin related things as viruses. but thats just false stuff. bitcoin code is not a virus. also the coin is open source so check it urself
