I was wondering if it's possible to flip flop cpu power between running programs in ubuntu?

Ideally I'd like to give 100% cpu to go to burstminer but then switch to a cpu miner while burstminer
is idle waiting for the next block.

I've tried the adjusting the process priorities but it didn't seem to change very much and the
cpu miner still used up resources when burstminer needed them.

Any ideas or suggestions please?
Using the "nice" and/or "renice" commands to adjust the process priorities is the way to go, so you did it right IMHO.

The fact that your CPU miner is still using up some CPU time while burstminer is processing a block, could be due to the fact that even then, burstminer doesn't take up 100% because of disk I/O wait times.  When your CPU miner isn't running, does burstminer use up 100% continuously while processing a block?

he has about 700tb!!!

Based on how many blocks he's been finding it's closer to 2PB. Looking at the wallet, the network difficulty increased by about 2PB right around when it started ramping up.

Curiously he's amassing it in one wallet too... If he wanted to he could destroy the market due to the only reason Burst having a high price is people holding it. The name would match if that's the case.

Sorry, but I don't think burst has a "high price".

Thinking about starting to mine some burst. Is there a calculator for tb / burst / day?

Have about 10tb that I can dedicate to mining.

Infidels! why you think /bin/laden is cheat? me no cheat my friend, me high-performance.

Soon, you will all be able to join the Al-Shabal Burstcorrist Mining Camp, where I'm willing to share my mining power with you.
Nope, it's not the nodejs uray burst-pool.
and NOOO, it's not the blago miner, I made proper port of the dcct-miner, for windos. And an optimized plotter, like 15% faster.
Let's just say, amongst many other bugs, that {char blago[50]; return blago;} is just not right. OK? I see Blago commented on me

Peace be upon you!

Blago, I'm getting " JSON format error " when trying your new miner.
Any ideas?
Thanks !!

There's a typo in your miner.conf. Post the contents ans someone will help you find it.

what about this one?
DWORD cwdsz = GetCurrentDirectoryA(0, 0);
p_minerPath = (char*)malloc(cwdsz);
GetCurrentDirectoryA(cwdsz, LPSTR(p_minerPath));
strcat(p_minerPath, "\\");

I'm sure there were others, but i kinda forgot, like I said I ported the dcct miner

PS: how old are you?  Smiley
