Elmit = timk ? Similiar style of writing. I recommend ignore button.

Doubt it. Timk pushed price down...and elmit dumps....maybe trying to push price down...but anyway...he is in taiwan, according to ebay timk wasn't.

How do I dump???

Did you get the information how to recalculate the HardInvest? Didn't YOU made the calculation?

If this stupid arguing continues then I'll just unwatch this topic (which will probably be more your loss than mine but if you guys think it is better to just fight then go ahead - this topic can just become a wasteland of idiots arguing for all I care).

Everyone has read enough about it to make up their own minds by now (assuming that they even care about the accusations being raised).

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I don't know, I found it pretty entertaining. Why don't people use it for PR since they're looking for stuff to blog about.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

I will chime in with only a few points then I suggest we drop that subject completely.

I would prefer if we'd keep the discussion civil and leave our personal differences out of it. This community has been friendly and helpful so far so let's continue that course.

People inform me that we have several developments in progress which should alleviate some of the pains newcomers to Burst face.
Cannot give any dates as there are none, we are all in this on a volunteer basis, but I'd like for the community to know that development presses on and that people's opinions are being taken on board.

Thank you all, let's make this a success together.

I've personally used burst.ninja:8124 or cryptomining.farm:8124 in each case you'll need to set the pool as the reward recipient within your burst wallet. So if you want to mine a burst.ninja you need to set your burst wallet reward recipient to:BURST-7CPJ-BW8N-U4XF-CWW3U and then wait 4 blocks. (To set reward goto http://127.0.0.1:8125/rewardassignment.html after opening your wallet like you normally would.)
You can now mine to the pool.

since you've mined at both of burst's biggest pools....did you notice any difference in the payouts ?

ninja's payout system recently changed a lot, so the findings are not going to be right unless redone, we're actively developing the best payout system in BURST.

just FYI Smiley

which pools better to use? What are their settings, url etc?

At http://burstcoin.eu/pools you can see a list of pools. Check them out.
Pools usually have a link "How to Mine" explaining the settings for that pool.

Remember, that each reward assignment takes 4 confirmations. That means, you cannot test this pool for a minute and then go to the next.

Basically the members of a pool share the income of all mining rewards. How "fair" they pay out is discussed here very often.
Mathematically the ideal pool would be if your hard disk size for mining is similar to the others of the same pool.

http://burstcoin.eu/calculator shows you what you can expect (in the ideal case). In reality there is a factor "Luck"

See it like a lottery. As more tickets you buy, as more chances to win you get. But still Luck can change the real payout to the winner, while the chance to win  still is for tickets the same average.

its about time some1 in the know went and updated the OP...
(for the benefit of newcomers)
(howto could be updated too, but i know time is constrained!)

the introduction spiel is abruptly cut short,
theres a few outdated links there and it seems a few things have changed in the past month, with pools and software

past couple of days i havent had much paid out from Mininghere pool, so ive decided to have a go at some of the other pools

the information about which pool to join, based on the what the calculator says and the average payout of the pools miners,
is hardly telling me anything, if anything just confusing me more :/

im trying the Devs V2 pool atm, but keep getting "no valid shares to submit to pool" at each block
(oh now i see one of the instances has found a share, wow - so it appears to be working, and another instance found 2 shares from same block, so dont be put off when you see 'No valid shares to submit to pool' for a while!)

all i did was move my generated plots on each drive into the pocminer_pools\plots folder on each drive,
as you need 1 instance of pocminer_pool miner for each plots folder you have..
(^ for those not so PC savvy)
