I have check the overlap and the result are :
Your results (assuming all plots are completed): Plots 103739847626845317_15811765_500000_4000 and 103739847626845317_16309766_392000_4000 overlap (1999 nonces) Plots 103739847626845317_21118859_1000000_4000 and 103739847626845317_22118856_1000000_4000 overlap (3 nonces)
Totals: 2002 nonces overlap (500 MB) 40357724 nonces total (9852 GB) 9414 disk seeks per Scoop (75.3 seconds @ 8ms)
So I have just 500MB in overlap with a total of 10TB available but I get just 3k and average and some days 4k, it depends from the pool ?
Thanks
Fabrizio
Does your Miner read in all Plots before a new block is found? According to the calculator you should get ~5K/day with 9.5TB https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/calculatorNot always ! It take 3-4 minute to read all plots, could be this The problem ?

I guess so. Optimize the plot files, then the miner should read in the plots quicker.

Is it better start to optimize the bigger plot files or doesn't matter ? I use 2 USB 2.0 3tb disks , 2 usb 2.0 1tb disks and different share in Nas using Gigabit ethernet connection, can be a ploblem this too ? Splitting The disk in different PC and starting The Miners in parallels in The same pool can help ? Thanks

Doesn't really matter, but I would start with the fastest drive. But remember, you need twice the space of the file you optimize, as it will be written a new file (Think it's the same under windows) So start with the USB2 drives and in the miner order aswell from fastest to slowest drive I wouldn't split it into different instances when you are pool mining, as you might get penalties for submitting lower deadlines as another miner already submitted

Is it possibile, having enoght free space, run optimization on multiple files at The same time ? Is this Process CPU estensive usage like plotting files ? Thanks

Dunno how the windows optimizer works, but I personally would plot one file/disk at a time, especially as it are external ones. You can try it with several files/disk and see how it works out. And for the file on the NAS, this is what I would do, optimize it on a local disk. Even when you have Gigabit, the Bottleneck will be the SAMBA Server on the NAS. You could have a look in mounting the shares via NFS, NFS is mostly faster as a CIFS share with large files.

Just a quick question:
Does the average earning of Bust coin depends from the pool that you choose ?
With the same plot files

Yeah, it can. But there is still luck involved with it, so after a long time it should even out.

Since, on the long term, it should even out, it doesn't really matter. The difference is only in the variance of time between payments. The more "power" (not miners) a given pool has the quicker and distributed the payout but also the smaller amount, viceversa pools with less power may even pay 1 time per day but with way higher payouts. I'm obviously making "extreme" examples since Burst pools don't behave exactly like other coins pools, but their are quite similar. With 10TB of plots I would go somewhere not too big (this should be the target of small miners, i.e. <3TB) but neither too small (this, instead, could be the target of >12 TB).

-ANNOUNCEMENT-
Due to OVERWHELMING RESPONSE and POWER being put on our pool due to my giveaway, I am going to halt the giveaway at this point. Thank you all for the messages and assistance!!
Anyone who has already messaged me saying they will put power on the pool later on, is still eligible. Anyone else is more than welcome to come to the pool, but I can not do the same 1burst/gb giveaway I did anymore, for the time being.
Thank you very much and happy mining!
edit: due to the last person (awesome person) who donated over 400TB to the pool, telling me that he didn't want to take the whole 400k+ burst I was going to give him, I can actually continue the giveaway!!
So, the giveaway is still on, and not only that,Thanks to an awesome person, everyone in the pool is going to get a bonus! I am going to be sending 50k that would have gone to hashes, to the pool address so that everyone mining will get extra pay!!
I will be doing this in random amounts at random times throughout the next week or so, so get your miners on the pool, and get bonus payouts! Thanks!

what's the problem? miner not connected and site not refresh... come on over to http://burst.gayou won't be upset, and I'll give you a bonus, and you'll get auto-bonuses too. We're the only BURST pool with auto-failover. Some of our recent payouts have been over 4k in s single payout! There are many above 1k, and a couple above 2k as well. We are getting back to our spot at the top of the best pools list

Hello,
I have found that optimizing plot files led me to reducing read plot time, almost by half. From 43 sec to 26 sec. But also, I am seeing for the first time that 4Tb hdd is having "no deadline" after reading plots 100%.
Is "optimizer" safe to use?
