What do you guys think about having an option built into the wallet that will automatically send coins to Bittrex or C-Cex as they come in from the pools and sell them for you at the market rate for BTC for a 2% fee?

That 2% fee of Bitcoin gets automatically added to a buy wall further down. Over time, the buy wall builds in size, the market rate increases, the miners receive more BTC for their coins, more miners come and mine etc.

Seems like a good way to boost the price over time and increase the size of the community. People are going to mine and dump anyway - may as well make it easier for them and take a little bit off the top for buy support - everyone wins.

I'd rather have that 2% go as interest to all burst holders, so it takes the lowest amount of burst you've had in your account over a month, and rewards you based on that. How does that sound? Even better if the fee and reward were in burst.

Hmm What about have a monthly interest payout from the fees collected paid to all addresses who hold >=X burst for >=X length of time?

Pretty much like that, but if we use minimum held in the last month it gets people thinking long term. This would need a dev tho....kinda like the mgw for nxt....

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

@Blago: I just started trying out your miner today and I've found it reads my drives a lot faster than urays miner. However, in doing tests, I've noticed that it occasionally misses better deadlines/nonces.

I have ~5tb of plots across two drives with a 10,000 stagger size. Your miner gets through one drive (5x plots, ~1tb) in 8 seconds and the other drive (16x plots, ~4tb) in 30 seconds, which is awesome. However, during the long deadlines after it's complete, I've been firing up Uray's miner and letting it run (which takes approx 2 minutes to parse all the plots) and it occasionally finds a better deadline and submits it.

Twice in a row now I've had:

Code:
From Blago's Miner:
confirmed deadline: 151075 (362....760_1000000_1000000_10000)
[100%] 5000 GB. deadline 151075s sdl:24(0), sd1(0) cd1:24(0) ss:375(0) rs:376(0)

and it's complete. So I fire up uray's and let it run, and see this:

Code:
From Uray's Miner:
dl:1 days 17:57:55 n:1083241
submitting nonce 1083241
{"result": "success","deadline": 151075,"targetDeadline": 151075} (This is the same one that your miner found)
confirmed dl 1 days 17:57:55
dl:1 days 08:24:00 n:4721937
submitting nonce 4721937
{"result": "success","deadline": 116640,"targetDeadline": 116640} (This is the one that your miner DIDNT find, but uray's did)
confirmed dl. 1 days 08:24:00
Any ideas on what might cause this? How is your miner missing blocks that uray's miner is finding?

It is interesting, I compare today miners on my plots...

Ahha, why not issue an asset which is backed by fees from this automatic bittrex seller. Pays out monthly and then there's a buy wall as well....and as the month progresses the ask goes up to avoid abuse.....If we have a dev to implement the automated bittrex sender....this could actually work quite well.....The buy wall would also mean that people can withdraw whenever they want without losing interest.

I have also noticed the same thing. With Uray I get atleast 1 block per 24 hours (from 1st Oct to 7th Oct I have got 9 with 24 TB) Where as with your miner I have got only 1 block so far in last 3 days. However I have got more shares on Uray2 even without finding the block don't know if just a coincidence or  something is different with your miner. Usually I have got 7k-7.5k coins/day from 1st to 7th Oct even though finding 9 blocks during that period while with your miner though I have got only 1 block in 3 days, I've got more than 10k coins/day on avg.

Huh...that may seem interesting, but your plots dont change...so the miner don't(ok m3ta, doesn't Wink) actually matter, although the pool will.

I ran two parallel miner (Uray's & Blago's).
First tested on a single file (244 Gb), then at five files (1.19 Tb) and the end 10+ Tb.
In all cases, the minimum deadline coincided in both miners.
The only difference was shown when using more than one file - this is the order finding the best deadline, due to the different implementation of the algorithm.
My all plots merged.

As long as I still see 90% of new posts here are mining related, as an investor, I would not buy.

OK, still no help on my posts. When I start burst mining on my computer, I run one instance of the server, and three instances of the miner(one on each drive). I have 10TB between 3 drives plotted. What can I do to reduce memory usage, and how come when I start the miners, they will just stop one at a time? I put a pause in the CMD line and when it stops, it just stops. No error or anything. Does anyone have any ideas? Also with just two miners running, I am sitting at 13Gb of memory used, that seems high. Is there a way to reduce it?
First, are your trying to Solo mine or Pool mine (if pool, which pool?)

Pool. http://178.62.39.204:8121 POCMiner_Pool v2.

My all plots merged.
screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/s/02kk1bcmfqu326n/tests.zip?dl=0
for Uray's uses
Code:
 {
    "poolUrl" : "pool3.burstcoin.io",
    "submissionMaxDelay" : 30,
    "submissionMaxRetry" : 3,
    "socketTimeout" : 60,
    "maxBufferSizeMB" : 64,
    "plots" :   ["C:\\plots","D:\\plots","E:\\plots","G:\\plots","H:\\plots","F:\\plots","I:\\plots"]
 }

for Blago's:
Code:
{
   "Mode" : "pool",
   "Server" : "pool3.burstcoin.io",
   "Port": 80,
   "Paths":["C:\\plots","D:\\plots","E:\\plots","G:\\plots","H:\\plots","F:\\plots","I:\\plots"],
   "CacheSize" : 100000,
   "ShowMsg" : false ,
   "ShowUpdates" : false,
   "UseSorting" : false,
   "UseResponseMaxTime": false,
   "ResponseMaxTime": 60,
   "SendInterval": 50,
   "UpdateInterval": 3000
}

It doesn't happen every time, did you get my PM with the logs of both files? I can do a video or take screenshots if you're still not convinced it's happening. It may take a while for me to reproduce again, took 6 blocks the last time to generate those logs.

...next wall in c-cex 100sat

who is following on poloniex / Bittrex?

As long as I still see 90% of new posts here are mining related, as an investor, I would not buy.
People are just ignorant to see that.

i think if there arn't update quikly, the coin still go down...

nobody here is interested to let burst value growth and invest in to... but just to mine the coin.

No problem , if the dev doesn't want to   promote this coin on twitter and other site it is his personal choice.  However I will attend the new PoC coin Wink.

Good luck for everyone .

You see that ? All the posts except our posts are all about mining. No wonder we don't get new investors anymore.

It just sucks when dev doesn't believe your bug report... Smiley

Use different miner instead...

I've similar issue... dcct miner is fastest in my opinion, but doesn't work with dev2 pool... Nevermind, I'll stick to mining solo where it works perfectly...

Also have tested that it finds all the deadlines correctly and I can confirm it..

Managed to reproduce on the first try this time, block 21478.

What I did to reproduce is watched for a new block, then immediately started the blago miner.exe and let it complete, seen here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ynoh2nq9kbrei61/blago.PNG?dl=0

It submits a deadline of 11 days as you can see in the browser behind it. Then after it says 100% complete (little after 1 minute in the round), I start up uray's burst-miner.exe and let it finish, as seen here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5nthvnejueecdd2/uray.PNG?dl=0

It finishes after 3 minutes into the block, and notice how it's found a better deadline and also submitted it to the pool. The browser window now shows 7 days and the console shows it submitting a 6 day 20 hr submission.

Thanks. But unfortunately except you, others are only interested in mining now. What a waste for such a nice coin.
