Oh man....1,000 XMG is a nice prize!  But how the hell can you 'win' a Minecraft competition? LOL....excuse my ignorance, I just never saw the appeal (years ago, when I first tried playing).  Would these games be something along the lines of....'competitive building'?  Or has minecraft evolved to the point where one could host PvP matches like this game?  I wish the fruits clan were hosting another Magi-sponsored competition in another game...but maybe I can hang out on one of your servers and plan something with you guys Wink

I've been meaning to set up a Magi clan/server for us gamers that play other online games (such as CS:S, CS:GO, TF2, Battlefield, etc.) but it'd probably be smarter to host a poll first to find out what people actually play  Grin  Not to mention, there are already counter strike & battlefield servers already hosted by thefruitsclan...

Hey 111magic, I'm sure you can offer some good advice - how can we best find out what online games everyone here plays?

wow...my steam account is over nine years old already...I don't know if that's something to be proud of or embarrassed about LOL

Goldlabel is there a start time available yet for the games?

I wish I could answer that but sorry! Maybe Spexx knows the answer!

My experience with GPUs is strictly limited to very high end cards and very low end cards, so I might not be the best person to ask, but the first question I have is "where did you get ccminer21.exe from?". I thought that I had the latest version and that is just called ccminer.exe so that looks odd to me. The other point is that with very low end cards (e.g GT210) both ccminer and cudaminer will fail to operate correctly and may in some cases actually cause a "blue screen of death". One symptom of either an impending BSOD or simply a failure to operate correctly is the software reporting impossibly high hashrates.

That is pretty much the sum total of my knowledge there Sad

Hi OBAViJEST,

We have build 10 games, win 1 game you get 100 XMG so in totale you can win 100 XMG.
There is a pvp, horse race, maze, bomberman like game, wall climbing, spleef, running game, jump quest, down the drain, and a boat race.
This is how you can win you coins, some games are easy some are very hard.

PVP, is a fighting game last man standing is the winner.
Horse race, first horse in is the winner
Maze, the one who find the exit first is the winner
Bomberman, the person who has the Diamond after playing the game for 15 minutes wins, so you need to kill the others to find the diamond.
Wall climbing, first at the top is the winner.
Spleef, last man standing on a 1 of the 2 top floors is the winner, you need to destroy the snowblocks beneath the other players.
Running game, first play at the finish is the winner.
Jump quest, first player going thru the dragons head is the winner.
Down the drain, first player going thru the portal is the winner.
boat race. first player over the finish is the winner.

So you see, there are many diffrent games and we hope you have allot of fun.

If there are any ideas for games plzz let me know, we allready goin to bluild a TF2 server and we have a new idea for a totale new Minecraft game (giant world) so if you want to join us, your welcome, we are a clan with people from many diffrent country`s.

Quick question for the XMG multipool

Do I just let it run with the provided BTC address, then convert into XMG when I'm ready?

Also, for the config file - even with a GTX550Ti, I'm surprised at the sub-par results.

Can anyone help tweak my config file?

Code:
ccminer21.exe --algo=x11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3336 -u bitcoinadresshere -p x -d gtx550ti -t 1

Appreciate the help Grin Never used a pool similar to this before...

try yaamp.com with your btc address
like this
Code:
-o stratum+tcp://yaamp.com:3533 -u WALLET_ADDRESS -p xx
as to my experiences yaamp is more ccminer friendly than nicehash

Talking about magi multipool, this would kinda be off-topic but I almost searched everywhere and found no answers. What is the script that magi multipool uses? I saw it on several other multipools aswell.

Thanks man, will wait for Joela95 than. I was here before but I wasn't posting. I am also mining magi time to time, mostly when my tiny hash is able to buckle in some shares.

That's really nice to hear. I noticed Magi has also a lot of people who are reading the thread and not posting.  Smiley Sometimes we all look at the people who are posting. But you helped me to remember all the readers. Thanks for that!

For Windows you will be wanting my compiled miners, included in either Sweet Spot software or my own packages. Details can be found via the links in the OP at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0.

That CPU should generate around 35 to 38 Kh/s hashrate. I am not going to stick my neck out and quote XMG earnings from that because XMG block rewards are highly variable.

Happy hashing and welcome to this magical community Smiley

Nearly any algorithm you want!  From the site:

Coin Magim u l t i p o o l

Scrypt
SHA256
Scrypt-N
X11
X13
Keccak
X15
Nist5
NeoScrypt

From what I understand, use whatever algo youre comfortable with, and point the miner at whatever port its associated with (click on each and it'll tell you the stratum port)

Apparently you plug in your wallet address and the multipool spits out a btc address, which you use as a username in your .bat

I guess what bitcoin you mine is then converted into XMG and sent to your Magi wallet.

I'm still learning myself, so I might be wrong.

Thanks for the reply, but what I am looking for is the script (website script) used on that site so I can create one for another coin. Smiley I assume it being a script because I saw the exact layout and codebase at other website, for example SDC multipool.

Thanks nevertheless.

I would send a PM to Historical about that, since he is the one who runs it.

Here is a sneak preview of what I have coming up. Autominer v4 lives and will henceforth be known as "The Mining Mage". With massive thanks to Goldlabel for the superb, shall we say "iconic", Minecraft-style  images. I thought this particular one was very appropriate.

Spexx any news about this awesome development?

Spexx any news about this awesome development?

I hope to release a beta version of The Mining Mage to a few selected testers within the next 48 hours, but it is only one part of a larger project which I do not expect to be complete until July at the very earliest.

On the mining side, it does not provide very much additional functionality over the current Autominer V3, but integrates this with the Miner Speed Controller (including SweetSpot targeting) and a new feature called TempMax, which prevents the CPU from overheating. With the Autominer V3 it was not possible to select the number of threads used in Simplex mode (one had to use Multiplex mode instead) but this newer version removes that restriction (as promised). The main difference is in the GUI. The sequential question/answer boxes have gone and there is just one form to fill in instead. The miner configuration form took a very long time to write and perfect - far longer than expected actually due to all the possible permutations - but that is all done and appears to be working as sweet as a nut.

There is rather more to it than just the mining side though. We have a Wallet Mage too, plus one-click updates and a whole bunch of comprehensive help files. Watch this space for details.

Edit: The whole thing is designed to run from a memory stick if required, so it will be fully portable and the software does not have to be installed on the computer hard drive.
