I've got 4 in Google Cloud as well: Machine type n1-highcpu-2 (2 vCPU, 1.8 GB memory) CPU platform Intel Ivy Bridge
Each VM is only putting out ~9kH/s though...what am I doing wrong? I'm using m7magi-cpuminer-v2 as my miner; is there a better one out there?
I'm using Wolf's M7M miner: https://github.com/magi-project/wolf-m7m-cpuminer-V2WOW!!! It's still about 9kH/s per CPU/core, but overall I'm seeing 12-16kH/s per VM now too! Thank you sir...now to fix all my other workers ...and the bare bones Azure servers are approaching 4kH/s

Thanks everyone for recently guessing and viewing the Mount Shasta picture, providing feedback, and sending tips. @Redrover – thanks for offering to share your reward, that was something I was thinking about and felt like doing too. @magic111 – always great comments and support, good to hear. @phillc - I'm glad I inspired you to do a trivia contest, that is wonderful. @Spexx – I am honored that you want to include the picture in your software, this is fine by me. The original file is pretty high resolution, just for your information.

Sometimes we might forget. Just want to point this out. Magi is doing an awesome job with the mining software. We are already accustomed to see all new improvements. But this is also one of the strength of the Coin of the Magi that you don't see in many other currencies. Special thanks for this to all great coders!

Thanks guys but I already tried it, it keeps reverting back to 32 . Maybe NeedIfFindIt can help since SweetSpot is his baby I believe. Thanks mate i'll give him a shout. I think Sweet Spot might have trouble handling even 32 threads and you might be better off giving my software a try. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg11122703#msg11122703Thanks buddy, just noticed i'm in your pool too. Your software is handling 48 threads, much appreciated. massiveman you were already told once - this is the second time: Read the rules of PoM!! It was made for a reason, you're not following the rules. Don't want to be an asshole, but...LOWER YOUR HASHPOWER - 250 KH/S MAX!! As soon as I clarified why I stopped. for all i knew Historical was just being a dick. I'm brand new to this coin and in my defense there are no rules listed on the pool website. Might want to think about shoving them on there. Historical is here very helpful to bring up the pool. I guess there is some misunderstanding, and we're supposed to send emails for a warning. We will put more information on the 1st page.

Feldenthorne correctly answers the first Magi Trivial Pursuit question. Here's the thread to read his answer: http://m-talk.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=9210 Magi to Feldenthorne, but there's still the opportunity to win 15 Magi if you can post something interesting concerning the answer to this question.

PoM3 donated percentages from us older miners going to newer ones with limited hash rates for a set amount of time to help them started? Just a thought.

111magic, can you pls enlighten us how does POI and POM really works ( with numbers / % ).
For example: POI - If I started campaign with 1000XMG in my wallet, how many interest/XMG will I get at the end of POI? (BTW - when is the end of POI?)
POM: If I constantly provide 200 kh/s and lets say mine 500 XMG in two months, how many XMG extra will I earn?
Sorry if that was already answered - wouldn't ask if I'd knew.
Thanks, cheers.

I can't be the only one to notice that the XMG block rewards have been increasing significantly. This is entirely due to the total hashrate from all the pools coming down dramatically. We have gone from over 50 Mh/s to under 38 Mh/s over the last day or two.
So the message is finally getting across is it? Hurrah! This is a real triumph.
