I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the hashrate.  I'm new to this coin, and correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it set up in a way which the higher the hashrate, the lower the rewards?  The basic economics of supply and demand and opportunity costs should bring the hashrate to a sustainable rate.  If the the rewards are too low, people will mine elsewhere, when they are high, they will come back.  There is an equilibrium.

Someone to contact Suprnova owner to open his pool?

Better not, it's very bad for the block reward for other miners.

Is everything working well now? I can see there is almost 1 pool up (minerclaim).

Why other pools are still offline?

Are payments being sent out?
Got many unconfirmed blocks still...

I moved over to minerpool for now - not sure if the botnets have moved across yet - hopefully this outage will make them decide to move to another coin...

There are at least 4 pools up that I know of.  Confirmations take 520 blocks now.

There are no botnets.  The 3 pools on https://poolinfo.systms.org/ are making up 33 Mh/s of the 39.  There are pools out there not listed, plus solo miners.  If you look at that 33 Mh/s rate, you see its made up of 580 workers, with an average of 56 Kh/s.  Its just that there are a lot of people mining

I just see in MinerClaim home page this:

"Today we are happy to announce, we are official member of the 2nd Proof of Mining Campaign!

We are part of this campaign to make mining possible for people they don't have a large anmount of hardware ressources. The PoM campaign is trying to protect the network and to ensure a fair coin distribution.

You can read the Rules at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1095475.0

The Max Hashrate per User is 250KH/s

Thanks to 111magic of bitcointalk.org to make this possible!"

Then go to pool stats and see this:

haha touche, though now I have dropped my hashrate down to 80 Kh/s.  It wasn't worth it with the 5 XMG rewards.  Economics at work!

As I received many requests of no-rollback and also many posts here, we will take the majority that we will go on with the chain on 104.128.225.215 as is, NO ROLLBACK. However, I strongly believe the PoW reward needs a reset at this mode before fix is released in the near future, and the number I have in mind is maximum 15 XMG / block. This is a temporary solution so that we keep chain / mining going. I temporarily shut the node down until we make release of the wallet. Please be prepare for the mining which can be done through solo mining. Please ask if you have questions of starting up solo mining. In the meantime, we seek pools like NOMP; few people present help on NOMP. I appreciate this.

I was working on a NOMP node but am not finding that it supports M7M.  Anybody else here running a NOMP node for MAGI?

Rewards are getting lower and some folks pumping more hash into the mining... I really don't have anything to say than it's ridiculous. Really ridiculous.
