Some people try to build new things some people try to ruin everything. We are building better exchanges with more care with their coins they add more care with fork reports and innovative crypto protects people from privacy concerns. I know majority of people in our side. And we will fight and win them. We did our best. we never been on fork.

If you are on wrong fork you can understand it first check
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/super/
if latest block count is not same or very close

then you may need to use latest wallet and sync from scratch.
Because it will take time you can speed it up by downloading the latest block chain and over write the current one in AppData/SuperCoin directory
https://mega.co.nz/#!KpsyWZyR!pZ-GGoV2NaqeYJxp_35QxGoX3mFpEzILX7-YWbd0HcE

make sure backup everything before that.

From my 2 cents here - We - small investors, and ordinary people are screwed anyway. It's not even matter who's guilty anymore.

If developers accept the terms - coin is dead.

If not - coin is also dead.

Some of us couldn't even dump, regardless of the fact would they want it to, or not. I tried sending small ammounts to the exchanges - 0 has arrived.

So, we could just sit in our chairs, frozen, unable to do anything, and watch it die. Slow painful death.

Apologies to those who I told to not to dump... I hope they did.

It's not anymore about the money, it's about the trust - and that's gone.

After this, I will never enter the cryptoworld again.

It is better to be stupid and lose everything in a bad trade than loosing it for being naive, optimistic, and trying to believe in something like child does when playing in the ground and thinks about future. That's foolish. There is no future. It's a scamworld.

Lesson learned.

And now, excuse me, I must go back to the real world...Super fast, lightning speed ...sobering.

P.S. Thank you SuperBull for everything. I know it's not your fault. Maybe you have lost a money, but got yourself a friend. If the road gets you here, you are more than wellcome.
hi there Bro.....
i was on work and my grandma is having problems with the heart surgery and i am not very active in the thread i know that and im sorry....
if super goes down ( AND I BELIEVE SHE WONT) i will lose more than 4 months mining + 4 btc invested and approximately more than 12 btc in super and 3 btc in electricity .

To tell you i am not concerned at all will be a lie, i am concerned cause i put all i got my time,my rigs and my passion in this project.
I know that Our Dev team is not the best one with communicating with us sometimes but they are real people too with jobs, families and problems. They are so devoted in codding that they sometimes feel no need to be more open to us ( this is not criticism its just my opinion ) but they are delivering always for so many months now we are trying to make supercoin successful.I believe in their skills Smiley

THANK YOU BRO for your words you got yourself a friend to and i promised that we are going to meet you can count on that for sure Cool Drinking you know what eating you know what Wink

People who want to dump i cant say much to you cause its our choice really,i know you dont gain trust with super after this exchanges porn but the team is doing their best i know that.

I like some supporters wont sell even after this cause its not worth it !
I have being naive several times and got screwed and everytime i feel like i will do the big hit....i think with super i can do that....my thoughts my dreams dont want to involve anybody in it.

Lets wait for couple of more days to see what is going to be the outcome and i think things are going to get better Smiley
Its rough time for all cryptos so i am not surprised by the market, another things is all the ppl who want to see super dead ..... i know there are some here but its their way to make money so i dont give a damn.

Ok bros Cheers
dont lose  hope hope we can manage this problem i am sure of it Smiley

Peace

Ok the situation suggests that it'd better give other chain the official one for now as all exchangers are with it & majority is there.
Because if we go with new chain many investors will loose their coins which they bought from exchangers.
But if we go with old one only some of us will loose some stake which we got within this fork time. Then we can go with mandatory new wallet upgrade.

Sorry if I am wrong. It is just my thought.

I don't understand much about forking but I have 3000 SUPER on bittrex and I know a friends who has some there too.

If they decide to move to the new blockchain we will lose them?

That doesn't seem very fair for the investors.

3D Printing and Bitcoin, that's pretty cool.

I have never synced from scratch from maybe 2 months now and i just replace the new wallet and uodated the nodes. Thats it for me.
its running stable for me since we launch trustless and had no problems with it, and because i m jsut generating super and buying i didnt try to move my coins except for testing SuperSend several times Smiley

So when i heard about fork and whatever i didnt move them again cause i been fucked like that back in the days from Cryptsy and i dont like it to have my coins stuck and thats why i didnt make transactions at all Smiley

We are not an exchange manager who decide and paid for the coins he add we cant follow forks as their staff members. Does satoshi alerts exchanges when fork happens?

But they dont question it but question Supercoin and other altcoins "pay this or we shut down your exchange" style.
We cant do much here. They play unfair. We were gentlemen offered them more ad space. I try to show them how good super was doing before fork and they can think to cover their accidental loses in the future.

We released new wallet with more secure checkpoints like usual. Other exchanges seem to have no issues. (As they keep opened the market)
We dont know but we alerted all to protect our community from irresposible exchanges. And just to be sure i removed all exchanges will put once one of them confirm that they are on true chain.

It seems you either do not understand what happened or you try to make us think that you do not understand. This fork happened not because forks happens.  This fork happened because you did a bug in your closed source wallet that lead to appearance of a fork starting with block that violates the rules that the open source wallet published by you follows. This is your fault and you can't just insist that exchanges are irresponsible.

The source code 1.6 IS NOT ABLE TO SYNC FROM SCRATCH WITH THE NETWORK. Full stop.

Yes you are on always true the chain like we (dev team). probably some of exchanges are still on true chain. We dont know.

people who has issues please make sure you are on the true chain.

+1000, I agree, that is why the dev won't answer my question. I have wait for 5 days to hope the dev can resolve, but he don't

The old fork is the only way to go to protect those with previous balances.

Those who moved coins on the new fork, your moves will disappear so nothing should have been lost.

we tried with 1.6 and it synced without issue at that time. So there is nothing wrong with 1.6. We released the block chain you or anyone can now sync with true block chain.

this seems logical. I for one dont mind losing staked coins to protect those who have balances on exchanges.

This happens because it rejects that damn block #412717 and continues to sync with the 'exchanges' fork. Then it stops at block 428419 as at this block the source code has a hard checkpoint that does not exist in the 'exchanges' fork:
https://github.com/supercoinproject/supercoin/blob/3db664be97960b3acc2d074d72e70f7828c9a61b/src/checkpoints.cpp#L38:
Code:
		(428420, uint256("0x0ecce796a51688a527bc0e05e2c663b8323cbeaf767424a2ebb48950a709c84e"))

Shouldn't the developers be here personally sorting this out?

You try the wallet compiled by the closed code, it does't have issue of course. Did you try the wallet compiled from the github open source code?

it does not sync because you are in the fork, this is what the checkpoint is for. I am sync'ing fine from scratch, even it takes quite some time.

If you don't want to sync, just get the full chain and sync from there. It's easy and fast to sync from the existing chain.

Just make a forced update version, go back the block before the fork happened, we all won't lost anything.
