What's the max netcoin/supply cap? Is there any? I haven't found a conclusive answer besides 384 million coins but since POS is obviously varied, I would like to know, thanks.
Edit, my wallet synced and shows 481 million + netcoins created so obviously 384 million is not hte right number.
You'll be amazed at how capable craptsy's servers are at generating PoS rewards (using the client's deposits). Its as if they are creating money out of thin air...

There is no upper limit. release is controlled through staking and amounts unspent for those periods. that said this december pir will halve. so if there are 500 million coins then if all were untouched and staked one could expect approx 180 million coins new for the next year. it sounds high but if you look at it in this way with 474 million coins out only 474 people can own a million each. big changes soon. new wallet, new sites, funded projects and services to release. got an idea/skills? put it to the foundation and get funded in netcoin to deliver. these funds come from big net owners that bought coins on exchanges that out of their own pockets want to further netcoin. get building!!!

Ah ok, great, thanks. I'm just a user/investor, so I hope the sites and services that come out will be nice. "just" a user/investor: Those in NET we consider are more than "just" As o0o0 said, there is a lot in the works, and soon we'll be showing it. Don't have a definitive timeline on the new sites yet (we're locking everything down, private servers, security, etc). But, hang tight, as we begin to announce what we're working on Glad to have you as part of the community!

Hi there. Is there any ongoing fork or sync trouble with NET? My wallet stopped syncing on block 765989 and even if I delete the blockchain and try to resync from scratch, it stops at the same point...

Just to give a follow-up, I solved the problem deleting completely the blockchain files and having the wallet syncing from block 0 My first attempt to solve the problem using my blk0001.dat file as a bootstrap didn't work...

We lost that server, we have a different one now. New website is still being worked on at the moment. Release should be soon. But yeah we no longer own that domain sorry.

Not sure, I think the giveaways are helping with that. With the new exchange and its features we have it funded to disperse coins for the whole month of October. Not everyone will hold their coins or stake I guess, Surely that's not all of it. I suppose the bit of inactivity could perhaps help as well. Just know things are being worked on and developments are underway it just a matter of the time. We are normal folks who also have lives too. If they want to sell then they can.. I'll just be buying cheaper NET then. We'll see how she goes

I wouldn't say the coin is dead. They have been doing some work on the new homepage. A lot of things are back in place. The devs have jobs and this is a side project for most of them. Compared to many other coins, this one has potential for valuation. Compared to this time last year, the coin has retained its value at ~ 120 sats and you can trade it for LTC and XRP also. The price of BTC is going up at this point in time, so many people are dumping there alts for BTC, Net is no exception. Overall, this coin has an established community, devs that chime in regularly and work that is actually being done in the background and you can actually spend bitcoins with services like coinpayments. Yes it was nice to see the price climb to the 300's and it may go there again. Just have patience and keep staking. Look at these low prices as an opportunity and good luck trading. If you really like this coin and have faith in the devs, why not throw some BTC in to the ring and bring the price up. Here are some links to help out people trying to get into netcoin at this time.
