Alright. So say we later add more coins to an single address. Do we have to coin control the old and new coins into one block to get the right PoS rate on everything, or will it automatically count all the separate blocks in a single address as one balance and pay the PoS rate based on that?

Netcoin has just been added to Bter's BTC market. Thought you guys might like to know.

https://bter.com/trade/net_btc

That's great. The more exposure and options the better, I think.
Hey I'm going to donate some more Netcoin later today, but I don't personally have a specific project I want to see finished. So I'll donate to whichever project the community and/or devs think will help the most.

Have a Great Day!

Actually no, you can just leave them be and they'll recombine of their own accord, this does however pose a problem when you want to send, as of course if they recombine you'll eventually only have one block... We are working on a solution to this... In the meantime if you go to settings -> options -> display there is an option to set a reserve, we advise you do this when you have a low weight as I believe it will effect your block.

We do have a solution but of course it needs some time to code and test etc.

We've also been working on a much nicer ANN thread for you guys Smiley

Alright. So say you have 1M sent in a single block. You add 100k. Will that 100k get the 80% or will you have to wait for it to "recombine" and miss out on the stake in the meantime? Thanks Smiley

After Bitcoin will add interest rate of 100% yearly, I will agree with Netcoin Foundation.

First Bitcoin, then Netcoin with PoS of 100%

Please explain your point Coinerer WHY is it a perfect idea to cancel all changes.

First Bitcoin, then Netcoin with PoS of 100%

If you read better the interest rate of 100% is only for the first year the second year you only get 45%
Besides how many people have more than 10 million NET?
I looked it up for you and there are 3 adresses with more then 10 million coins of which the biggest is inactive for 5 months already.
The other 2 are adresses from exchanges and they don,t stake they can,t actually

My opinion is that someone is jealous and is a little bit sick that bitcoin doesn,t have such innovatieve things Grin

One and only really unique innovation was CENT. Why to wait 1 year if you can wait only 1 week. Smiley

Exchanges stake but they keep the coins.  I know this is a fact for at least Cryptsy.

Almost nobody interested in buying NET despite so good interest rate?

Sooner devs cancel all changes, sooner It will be better for this coin.

Price tells now.

In this scenario you might be better off to manually combine them when the 1 mill block stakes... But I mean you don't get 80% each time, that is the yearly %, so in reality if you left them combine by themselves you wouldn't really miss out on much.

Have a Great Day Everyone!

Hey every contribution is greatly appreciated! So thanks so much for doing your part Smiley

@yogibear... That weight is not very much... May I ask how much you are staking? But give it some time, people that have 50k tell me it takes a few days, which sounds reasonable. The more you have the faster your weight grows... Weight is coins X age.

@coinerer

XD Not everyone is going to get 100%, in fact very few I would say... You would need to get 10 million NET to earn that... How much would that cost exactly?

And the altcoins are here to give their own perspective, if all coins were the same then it would be pretty boring and pretty pointless no?

But as I say you'll never please everyone with anything you do.

And coinerer you don't wait a year XD... You stake throughout the year, with my coins I stake multiple times a day... But the % you get is split up depending on the time it took you to stake you see.. This is how pretty much ALL POS works Wink

@vlad2vlad

Maybe they do and is more reason for people to take their coins off the exchange. But ultimately it is up to people what they do with their coins. If they want to give the stake to the exchange so be it.

@coinerer, actually we have seen a large increase in volume since implementing the changes, before there might not have been a buy for days... But hey there is much work to be done to get the word out there.

The coin was getting time warped for a long time, we need to let people know this has been fixed and there are no longer these network issues. There is still much work going on behind the scenes and there will continue to be... Did you really expect it to shoot up overnight? Things take time... But I see an nice steady increase in volume everyday and this is great Smiley

It shot down almost "overnight" from longer term perspective. If coin has no developing economy or user base at pace of at least of PoS, average coin value will fall. Only big buyer can save us Smiley
