i mined at coinmine and from there, i request withdraw and send to cryptsy wallet.

Cryptsy's wallet is currently down for maintenance, so that is most likely the reason why.

Which type of maintenance?

thanks for the reply.

No problem, hopefully they get updated soon.

I have to inform you that there is a possibility that coinmine has been mining the old chain... If this is the case then those coins will most likely not arrive... All pools and exchanges were notified prior to release, so they should have. But it has come to light that some have not. So this is why I am letting you know.

EDIT: Ahhh phew... coinmine are on the correct chain Smiley

http://www.coinmine.pw/poolinfo.php?pool=NetCoin%20%28NET%29%20mining%20pool&coinid=46

You can check the current block number against my pool here

http://pool.netcoinfoundation.org/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

So all is well and as soon as cryptsy have got the wallet back online your coins shall arrive Smiley

It means your wallet has not been opened to receive the transaction. My guess is you have not updated your wallet to v 2.2.0

Hi. Want to check to make sure I'm not on a fork. The official block explorer seems to be old. What's the current block height and blockhash to check against mine? Is there a more updated block explorer vs the one on the Netcoin Foundation site? Thanks Smiley

Sorry bout that, just had it rebooted and should be cleared soon as the blocks redownload.

PIR and OWI are just marketing schemes explaining two commonplace parts of most PoS coins.

Yeah well, no time for trolls. I read some of his other posts.

Mee is out at the moment. He has some things to get done. Not sure when he will return, he's behind on family times from putting so much into NET everyday. So thinking about maybe a week?? Not sure. When I hear from him I'll let you know.

Ok firstly, what client version do you have? Did you have Netcoin before? Current client is 2.2.0.0, you will need to delete the old blocks and files in the appdata>NetCoin folder if you have had Netcoin before. (except WALLET.DAT) Also some are reading the PoW stats section but are not hitting the refresh button to see the refresh stats. Leave the client on and check on it after a bit, you should be good to go.

Greetings!

Silly question, perhaps, but here goes.  Cheesy

Maximum number of NET is set at 320,636,160.

Currently, the supply of NET is 317,727,397

So, we are currently at 99.09% of the intended maximum.

What happens when we reach 100%??   Huh

Please excuse my techno-ignorance.  Roll Eyes

Well, the boys are working on the next update right now.  Netcoin foundation is looking at turning NET to a full PoS only coin. Nothing official just yet, they are looking to our best options. Few things to work out still.  But you can almost count on it.

In the mean time, now looks like a great time to pick up a few more CHEAP Netcoins.

Thanx 4 reply, BJ124.

But, just to clarify; if NET does go full POS, does that mean that the original coin-number limit effectively disappears?

Does full POS mean that a cryptocoin will keep growing in number indefinitely?

Yes that is the case.

Well, someone / something has to mine blocks zu keep the transactions moving. Would you run a miner for no rewards?
