Scary wall!! U$ 350.000,00 to tear down it. Not likely.

Rally called off.

But, it also looks like a manipulator move.

Some people don't want to see big movements far away from U$ 5.50 until a big part of Bitcoinica's refunds are completed.

A trading range plateau between 6.40 - 6.70 wouldn't be so bad either...

That's probably right.  I still think $7.20 will provide some significant resistance.  There's still a chance $7.20 remains the 2012 high.

Proudhon, I think you would seriously suffer if ever you made money on rising prices  Wink

I am looking forward to a few months where the average price doesn't move and the difference between daily high and low is less than 3%. Let the exchanges make some money on statistical arbirtage.

I think we're in for many months of relatively stable prices, but I doubt the price will get stuck in that narrow a zone.  I think a move down into the $5s is likely, but slowly over the rest of the year.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

At this point he has probably made $100,000. The last time someone purchased 35,000 bitcoins was in the upper-mid $4 range.

Then he should take the rest of his absurd profit.

Blatant manipulation... surprise!  Bidwall goes up right after huge sell, 0.3 under.

I hope this guy doesn't get away with it, but if he does, I'm joining in the manipulation Smiley

I'm aware of trading in EUR is mostly significantly higher than in USD. It seems to me that Europeans try do diversify their assets this pushing the price.

So in my opinion big selling walls will not stay for long. And if the Europeans will have solved their problems in some way, the ones of America will reoccur again.

The Europeans haven't solved anything yet. The Euro is in a very precarious situation. You're right on the US situation, they actually have it even worse, their problems are simply shadowed by the impending Euro situation.

I somehow think that the Euro disaster will take longer than expected. From what I've heard TPTB would like to last till at least till they got through with the American Union. So they can then phase in a world currency to replace the amero and the euro.

So in that respect the Euro collapse is tied to how long the dollar will last in respect to PM. So what I would propose is think of a way to back up bitcoins with private stacks of PMs and make it verifiable in some way.

It's ironic really how the corporate media propaganda machine in the US is blaming Europe for this new downturn when in fact they should be thankful Europe's lack of outright demonetization of debt by the ECB in order to keep the rates down exposed our problems first and diverted the limelight and focus away from the US which has the very same exact problem but by a huge amount worse.

My personality type: INTJ - please forgive my weaknesses (Not naturally in tune with others feelings; may be insensitive at times, tend to respond to conflict with logic and reason, tend to believe I'm always right)

I'm on the same side as Vladimir. Bitcoin will outlast the Euro and the Dollar.
