Patience. Long term, short all pops. Knowing when to cash out is the only problem, you don't want to be the last to leave this party.

There's been a lot of selling pressure the last few days...price has been really weak...I guess it's that time of the month.

I think we're going to see panic selling soon.  Maybe even strong enough to push past the famous $3.80 zone.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

I think this is delusional thinking. Bitcoin market sentiment is way beyond panic selling at this point. I see this as nothing but a hopeless attempt to induce panic selling. It's not going to work however.

This doesn't mean that there won't be some panic selling, in fact there might be something like that going on right now.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

Yeah even I would call that a possibility. I also know the markets don't really care for rationality either. If people want in, they will create new trend lines. At the moment...support at $5 is mind blowing. The question is, do the people who have a vested interest in gaining more coins via short have more clout than those ready to buy up to $5?

This looks like a bottom to me, but I'm a scrub and I'm wrong 90% of time. Which means we'll probably see $3.80...sigh.

Google Chrome gave me a malware warning when I was trying to read an earlier portion of this thread. Anyone notice anything malicious going on?

Complaining about content coming from mstrum.com, "a site known to distribute malware".

These are just wobbles - basically noise, at this point.  As usual the name of the game is sell/short above $5.15 if you can, buy back/cover below $5.  Rinse, repeat.

no, these are the rumblings before an earthquake. statistically speaking, after a long period of low volatility, and entering a period of increasing volatility, one should expect a serious price movement. i think you constantly talk your hand and never provide any serious, unbiased analysis.

Haven't you read all those threads saying there won't be big earthquakes anymore because of the shorting effects of bitcoinica and others? No more rockets, ever...

Things may be muted internally, but broader markets will influence Bitcoin simply because of their magnitude. Dollars or Euros flowing into Bitcoin would cause a launch no matter what derivative mechanisms are in place for Bitcoin.
