We were contacted earlier by what looks like a fake exchange, I won't post the address as that would advertise them and I know people would click it, but thought I better warn users to be careful just in case.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

lows are getting higher forming an ascending triangle , good things are being worked on and the comunity is pretty enthusiastic about the innovative faetures , once the volume starts going up the price will fly away , which in my oppinion should be soon since people are trying to accumulate by making a little barrier at around 1k

Yes, I have some volume dependant features waiting to be made. One of them will be so you can pay for items/orders with Bitstar at places that already take payments in Bitcoin, but as always I also plan on expanding it further. Some other ideas I'll be keeping to myself for now also.

I did say a few posts back, happy to look into it, can you supply a page where it explains exactly what the asset exchange is? and what we/they get out of the deal. I think it is basically a nxt - anything else marketplace , this is copied from the nxt homepage : "The Nxt Asset Exchange is a peer-peer exchange built into the software allowing decentralized trading and eliminate large trading fees. The Nxt Asset Exchange will allow trading for almost any currency and for almost any commodity. This feature is based on the "colored coins" concept. The blockchain provides a trustworthy record of transactions and can be leveraged to provide a record of trade of items other than Nxt. An asset can represent property, stocks/bonds, commodities, or even concepts. As a result, the Nxt Asset Exchange could be used to trade almost anything." for the coding part , which i dont understand anything about i found this : http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Nxt_API#Asset_exchange_operationsanother explanation i quoted : "A brief explanation of decentralized exchange: Exchanges like nxt, ripple, and mastercoin work with an idea called colored coins. So with a bitcoin any one bitcoin is the same as any other bitcoin. They are what we call fungible. Colored coins are intentionally not fungible. They are intentionally distinct and different from one another. Colored coins have a value attached to them. So for example, speaking in abstractions here, a colored nxt may have the value attached to it of "Nxtsky promises to pay 1 btc to who ever sends him this token, signed nxtsky". Now that token can be traded on a market. Lets say betty wants to trade litecoin for bitcoin. She sends litecoin to "hanks litecoin gateway" with a message attached "bettys nxt address:blablabla". Hank will issue "X hankLTCTokens" and sends them to bettys nxt address. Betty uses these to fill the highest bid for on their orderbook thus gaining nxt. Next betty uses her nxt to fill the lowest ask on the orderbook for nxtskysXCPTokens. She sends her nxtskysXCPTokens to nxtskys nxt address with a message attached "bettys xcp address:blablabla". Betty waits for the xcp to arrive. its obvious to most at first the disadvantages of what i just described. Its very complex compared to sending your coins to cryptsy but this is the cost of decentralization and decentralization comes with its own rewards. at some point in the future you will not just be buying any old random token. You will buy the ones issued by the guy who lives down the street so you can go there and pick them up in person." what we get out of it : nxt - bits exchange ? what jl777 gets out of it : being able to sell his bits directly to nxt ? if it takes a long time to do id say its better to finish later since even with this jl777 would still want coins for his work , the good thing would be that he is a very good developer and apart from delivering very good work very fast , being able to say that he is working on bits would bring many people from nxt and bitcoindark (which essentially he himself brought to its current price) would jump into bittstarcoin

Yesterday we rewrote the BitStart system so it can provide refunds if targets are not met (ready for the next stage).
So maybe we should add projects like this with a time limit on them.

i have contacted them ( live chat ) and shared my email with them, i will get an official response from them. probably by tomorrow. that response i will post here. they were already aware of the coin Hi thisisit, After our talk, here is where we stand at the moment: "At Bitstars.net we’re working hard to continue to excel and provide the best user experience for our players. The same stands for anyone who simply likes that element of fun while playing in a casino that offers some of the best games around. Bitstars will continue to add new games and functionalities that we are very excited about. The addition of new currencies and altcoins are also in the pipeline as part of the future plans, although it is still too early to specify the exact currencies that will be added. In saying this, since we are already fully aware of all the benefits of the bitstar coin, this is one the coins that we will surely be putting on the list that we are going to evaluate internally before taking any final decisions." I wouldn't worry about, it's probably just someone seeing if they can hold the price down to pick up some cheap coins before the inevitable climb.
Because there is such a small percentage of these coins available on the exchanges, people generally figure out fairly quickly they are not going to gain much from messing around with the price and they tend to move on to other coins they can manipulate, or they become long-term believers and hold.

https://twitter.com/moolah_io/status/504115205031608320Moolah is taking requests for new coin add on MintPal. Maybe we can rally some #Bitstarcoin requests? Also, it would be good for the developer to contact them directly. (as they are asking for developers also)

Done, we must start a $BITS rally at Twitter. Search and retweet all tweets about $BITS #Bitstarcoin #Bits #Bitstar I retweeted Jakiman's tweet. It's only a matter of time now til bits really blow up.
