If that retard trump bombs NK then it probably will have an effect on the korean exchanges I'm sure what that effect would be though. He's such a retard he doesn't understand ignoring them and keeping them contained has been the best policy, saber rattling will just get alot of people innocent killed. Personally if he causes a nuke to go off I hope they manage to take him out, I don't think he's smart enough to understand he is a legitimate target by the rules of war.

Unfortunately it seems like conflict with NKorea is inevitable. What are your thoughts on what this will do to not only the crypto markets, but the regular markets as well?
Unless you are scared of CGI I wouldn't worry about it You think they faked an earthquake? I'd say serious conflict would cause a flight to stability. Metals will rise. Crypto ready to take some of gold's shine or not? So far not. Today we have metals up oil up yen up stocks down bonds up crypto down. So the thesis of crypto as a safe haven is not really confirmed by this crisis. IMO this is due to crypto at elevated valuation with high speculative inflows (driven by recent high returns and ICO hype). At BTC=$1-2K (reference price, can consider others too), crypto might be more of a safe haven. At $4-5K, likely not.

Polo lending rates are increasing and coins available decreasing.. short bloodbath incoming
Dude, I just now noticed that and came here to ask questions about lending. (I've never checked out loaning rates before, but have heard they were dirt cheap, hence all the shorters dragging the price down. But as I watched, before my eyes, the last fraction of monero lending for 0.0001% or something like that got picked up. Now the lending rates are all 0.4%+. That's a big jump. Do you guys recommend lending, especially at these rates, or is it just better to keep your moneros off the exchange? Double edge sword, gives shorters liquidity and you make a small %. Or you keep your coins away and shooters get wrecked when it rises. Personally I would never add liquidity to lending. Well, if you want to short by yourself, you could add liquidity

Hi Rangedriver,
Love your enthusiasm to be honest and I sure do hope you are right. However in my scenario I am going thru personal issues where I would be needing an exit and I am looking at September 20th-28th.
Whats your rough estimate prediction at that point frame in terms of price?
Thanks in advance.
If you're playing with large amounts of money that you depend upon for your livelihood then you absolutely should not be listening to me. Predicting prices with atomic accuracy is fun for me. Nothing more than that. It's really no different from trying to guess how many cookies there are in a jar and is nigh impossible. Drunken pub games at best. So if you've got a deadline or you're looking for an exit then certainly you should be looking to err on the side of caution. Don't even think about doing otherwise.

Still think we may see 0.07 in the coming few months? Market feels like possible long bear season ahead...

This small decline in price don't mean much and if i had to guess i think this is the bottom, around .025 and high .024's

I knew this pullback will happen. I could have earned more if I sell some before the breakdown of the head-and-shoulders, then buy-back when the dust settle again. But apparently, I don't have the balls to let go of my Monero. I found it riskier to let go then buy-back again like a genius, compared to just watching this correction.

This is possibly the best news I've read in months.
Really the only thing that happened today was the removal of a gangrenous toxic appendage that was beginning to decay the core of crypto.
So many scams are going to wither away now.
Additionally, it allowed the formation of a correction/consolidation phase that was quite sorely needed IMO.
Whether the market is cauterized or allowed to heal, I don't know.

I guess you mean ICOs. Seems like Fluffypony's trolling video about ICOs has been taken seriously by the government.

The Monero community has been warning of the dangers inherent in presales, premines, instamines, masternodes and dev taxes since 2014. Coins that have any of these are existing on borrowed time. FINCEN has outlined what they consider a decentralized cryptocurrency very clearly, and the presence of any of the aforementioned features is a clear violation.
Intelligent people would do well to remove coins that violate these standards from their portfolios before the hammer comes down. And rest assured that it will. The wheel of justice turns slowly, but it grinds exceedingly fine. Dash, Zcash, Ethereum, and many others are going to be ground into a fine dust.

I guess you mean ICOs. Seems like Fluffypony's trolling video about ICOs has been taken seriously by the government. You do not have to have seen FP's 'announcement video' to understand that the primary thing ICOs are doing is taking the already scam ridden world of Cryptocurrencies and magnifying the scummy parts to an extent it actually begins to threaten the valuable, purer aspects of the space. I am first for liberty. But it's hard not to be a little bit happy when you see the boot of an oppressive government actually come down on people who deserve it.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of ICO's. For every one good ICO, there are easily 20+ that are just there to ultimately steal money. It's just what's historically happened, and I'm not a big fan of anyone that wants my money.
More importantly are the questions - will the money that was in the ICO business-startup funding market find its way to a new one now? Or will the combination of the afflicted be looking to diversify outside of crypto?
Or will this be like cutting the head off a hydra, ultimately proving the legislation to be ineffective?
Regardless, I would expect that capital outflow from china will continue in some way.
