If the price of Monero reaches 100 usd ("moon") I am expecting the OTC volumes starting to hit the markets.
Monero is a currency which works the best in OTC platforms where people can transact between fiat and Monero without revealing identities to each other.
I am expecting the OTC trading to such Moneros from circulation and creating severe shortages in those days. Shorting Monero will be welcomed warmly because the shorters will give markets to the accumulators. The only problem is that shorting Monero do not pay that well because the accumulators will not buy the coins in order to instadump into the short covery bids.

I am confident we will reach to that level, the price has been good so far and it starts to pick up already from falling to the level of 0.014, I think this is a great start already as for today the price is 0.017 and I have seen on the chart that the volume increases also.

Well maybe you dont follow this thread properly....i always said that XMR will go to the moon somewhen. But the quick raise was way to much so it was not hard to suppose that it will crash cause some people loose their courage and a lot of money by panic sells. The decline of demand was strong related to the really new implementation of AB and the low Volume. XMR has everything to beat out BTC. Sorry that is no bagging it was just a logic investment related to other past events on stock exchanges.

I would probably be an exemplar of the permabull type.  I have bearish short term views on occasion.  I generally refrain from posting them, because I consider that they are more likely to harm than to benefit the reader.  When such occassions arise I am cautious about acting on those views, generally remaining within a few percentage points of maximum exposure.  How much more cautious should I be about other people's risk, where their utility functions are entirely unknown to me?

From a somewhat longer term viewpoint, I would consider a long consolidation in the 015-200 range to be a very positive development.  I don't have any firm expectation how long this range will hold - on all evidence, probably not very long - but the longer it does last, the more bullish the future prospects will become.

Either believe or doubt in XMR We are at a great beginning of the development of Moneros existence.
If you follow some DN Communities you can see there is a "good" (i dont say its good) development.
A lot of people demand ransomware which only supports Monero. So BTC lost here already.
This alone is a billion dollar market and its still growing cause making money was never so easy for hackers since Monero!
The related volume will make the coin more stable. Beside this fact that also a lot of other hackers already (paypal/amazon/etc. accounts) use/require monero.

If this reaches a critical mass, more and more Drug-Sellers will also join Monero. The benefits are known.
For them its the fact that they dont have to use a coin cleaner like grams.

1. Safes cash cause coin cleaners are not for free.
2. Its faster without.
3. No risk of a scam during cleaining.

With this big acceptance and volume "real" companies which are already accepting BTC are also going to accept Monero. When this is happening BTC will replaced by monero cause it can do everything what BTC can just better.

The last drop was only not good for the coin and drug sellers because  the big markets mostly demands escrow. Consider 1 Week delivery time, than 2 days until the customer release from escrow. 9 Days in the past could make 1000$ only worth 700$.
Even with a x,x% discout from AlphaBay for Monero Supporters its not a good deal. So but we can shift this problem actually away cause its kinda solved (ransomware/volume).

Another thing atm are the chinese. A lot of these "nerds" lost really a lot of money in the raise of BTC. They joined too late and sold panic when it dropped. That is a big market but they are more careful atm. As soon as they understand the value of XMR it should run by itself. Everything is about a critical mass and media attention (which is low in china atm)

Lets crack the 30$ and no one of us here will ever worry about any bills -assumed anyone of us is in with more than 5000$

Some people here have a better knownledge about the technique and in using software than the ordinary party guy. He wants something easy, safe and relieable. Monero is not as easy as BTC atm. Where to buy? Where to store (GUI!)? I have my wallet and have no problem with a console. A lot here probably not too. But the average dude has. About reliability XMR needs time to prove.

Its also a big risk to go short. Most here knows that i guess. You can loose much faster all your money. For me the bottom was reached with 142.
3 days after the release of the new fork i guess i would never ever go for short cause the risk of loosing everything is way to high in my oppinion. But for now it was a good run and i just bought me a new jetski When it goes to 156 again ill invest 80% of my Fortune and hold it for years if necessary. When it will be a stable uptrend what it actually looks like then I invest too. For now I hold my little 1600 XMR stock and see what is happening
