I will baghold my 67xmr i have left during the crash, i want to know how it really feels. Not sure when it's smart to start buying, below 0.012 maybe. Yes obviously xmr will go down more, the price is falling slowly and this is likely to continue for a while.

I would worry if Risto or any other whale like him starts dumping Moneros. If an internet troll opens short positions on XMR I consider it personally a buying opportunity for a person who prefers buying low and selling high instead  of buying high and selling low.    Kiss

I guess selling 70% at 0.0135 wasn't that bad after all, good thing i listened to N-rg. But the question is: when do i start buying? i will not buy over 0.012 but maybe i should wait for 0.01? even less?

Price is coming down again. It is my understanding (noobish as it may be), after yesterday's stablization it is coming to .012 levels again. If trade volumes continues to increase, price will fall more. Previously high volumes meant rising price but the opposite is happening.

I guess shorts wins yet another round Smiley

As sell orders are building up, no sign of bulls for weeks Smiley Just dump it and collect it lower. Everything else is empty forum talk.

The price soared as volume picked up. This is one of the highest volume level over the last four days. I expect a drop now. Greater volume levels are followed by smaller ones and price drops.

Anything below 0.01 i would buy... 0.01 -- 0.012 are my targets for long term holds

maybe there is even a time where to turn off grouping to 4 decimals and trade in regular between 0.002 to 0.004 again -which was common 2 month ago.

please bear with me on this. if i look at the market trend, when the trade volume increases so does the price. am i just looking at it too narrowly?

moreover, i say this because on polo with a 6hr timeframe, the drop happened as trade volume significantly increased. but then looking at it on a longer timeframe of 24 hr, the volume was not that significant. as greater trade volume was observed, much in line with previous increases during the day, the price rose. i guess what i am asking is about price movement.

Volume and price are intrinsically linked. Traditional crypto coin knowledge is volume drives price.

When I look at it though I always also see volume on the dumps so Im not sure its the only measure you should use.

Hey!

Today volume is 5684! Grin

I am one of those people who thinks more volume is always a good thing in the long term. So this is exciting to me as well.

Dump volume had more volume on the shorter time frame as they broke significant support (thus higher volume shows signs that this break out will be valide). Nonetheless, volume on the uptrend were much higher as you they were characterizing a strong emotion (FOMO). In a continued down trend, volume doesn't need to be that high to validate the bearish scenario (fear is a slow increasing feeling, usually downtrend ends on what is called "capitulation", point at which you'll see exponentially rising volume on a short amount of time, fear is here at is paroxysm).
