Seems to be that some people got much hurt during the continuous falling price or why so happy that i lost with my short? But i guess ill never understand the attitude of people who like when others fail For the haters: I made 12k EUR profit of my last short so i can live pretty good with the loss of the last 24hours It is easy... shorting gives the feeling you think this stuff is too expensive, so you are acting against what most people in this topic are waiting for... a rising price. Also you seem to be bragging very much... no one likes bragging people. Well maybe you dont follow this thread properly....i always said that XMR will go to the moon somewhen. But the quick raise was way to much so it was not hard to suppose that it will crash cause some people loose their courage and a lot of money by panic sells. The decline of demand was strong related to the really new implementation of AB and the low Volume. XMR has everything to beat out BTC. Sorry that is no bagging it was just a logic investment related to other past events on stock exchanges. No he's dead right. This thread is majority longs. Some permabulls. And you mocked them and bragged about shorting. If you're gonna sit down at that table you'll eat what's served. No I think the general problem is that perma sellers/shorters are stuck in the 2011-2012 mode of the mega BTC speculation thread. What used to work for that thread and in that era is not working, should not work and other perma bulls should join and be a bit more vocal about thwarting these manipulators tactics, especially as we collectively try to grow the economy and give confidence to the new businesses coming in. No one is asking you not to short or sell etc, but be prepared to get called out for manipulative tactics. The values of cryptos are sentiment driven, so we are just playing the same game as you are. You just get offended more easily since you are a perma manipulator. The best advantage of a trader is to work with information not in public domain. Spilling it out in the open, especially in cryptos is just pure manipulation masked as philanthropy to take advantage of those who are less experienced. You are free to do that too of course, just no whinging when you get called out and we can all live happily ever after.

Sellers are exhausted, it seems. Very likely, then, a significant repricing is imminent.
Also medium size sells are easily absorbed...so I would guess it goes up.

Consider the amount of XMR on sell orders right now. Soon there'll be less of them because they're put to use for e-commerce instead of speculation.

BTW, I have not held for 5 or 6 months now so I have no dog in the game other than wanting to see humanity free from fiscal enslavement, but I doubt that ever entered your mind when you could make a few grand to pocket and feel like a big boy now did it?

I personally have no clue why it is taking so long to get a official wrapper out, it's not like it's an actual wallet replacement so I don't doubt that 95 percent of all programmers can kick a wrapper out in no time. Hell it's been done tons of times already. I see no reason to fund it.

Price of $ 100 by the end of this year - I doubt it, but within the limits of 60-80 is possible.

Try to get some by setting bids close to the markets. I am trying, in my small and gentle way. It helps if someone would sell, though. Is 018 the new support, or is there another leg coming? Either way, BAF. Up 25% in 4 days and no signs of slowing down. If we break 0200 it may unleash some frenzy again. Those are always fun to watch, and usually are major repricing events.

The price had a nice rebound from the low. Is $100 by Thanksgiving to early?
The price is just $10 at the moment. I do not think the price will go to $100 in a few weeks. It might be in a few years.

Well said. It is just an alt ID of another poster in this thread. These dramas have also started for a while. But don't say anything as you might hurt other manipulators' feelings.

I'm not convinced that it would crash again in that way above 0200. People learned their lesson and if a new peak is made also more trust in Monero has been built. I could assume that -if after a new peak the price will fall (what is just ordinary)- there are some clever guys who expect monero falling in the same way and go short. But if the trust keeps the price stable or even more interest in monero will lead to another peak and the shorters.....

Nobody wants to sell XMR anymore. Too much risk of missing the space rocket and being stranded. We'd rather lend them out to 'brave' short sellers.
