I agree it could happen at any moment. I think Rangedriver was guessing at 0.07 for next target.
We'll soon see. Or.. y'know we won't see for a very long time, if at all. Sooner - .04 before the beginning of Oct imo

Monero really has not disappointed its holders and I am sure it will also make through the future. But it is definitely not at the top of the list at the present moment and honestly speaking, it never will as far as altcoins like Ethereum are out there. Still, let’s see how far it can go.

Nice to see Monero show some strength during this storm.
I was just thinking the same thing: both Monero and Bitcoin Cash holding up best of all the "top coins" overall. I was expecting my overall portfolio total to be much worse than it actually was after crunching the numbers this morning Why in God's name anyone cares what that criminal Jamie Dimon thinks anymore about anything at all, is beyond me...

That's the same thing I said an hour back: Monero is literally the only "popular" crypto right now which is not taking extreme damage (like ETH/BTC/etc).
It's hard to believe that it's still $105 each, after all the damage to crypto world. Once bitcoin starts recovering up, I'm sure Monero would be seeing the new all-time highs.

There had to be a correction. The China and Dimon nonsense happens to be the justification that people assign to the correction. If not for this, there would have been some other justification. Weak hands are cleared out, intelligent traders increase their positions. Rinse and repeat.

No matter what is happening. Bitcoin goes up, Bitcoin goes down, Monero goes up , Monero goes down. Presidents with funny haircuts start arguing whose dick is longer. China bans everything that moves. Nothing changes here. Less and less Monero on sell side on Poloniex. I do remember clearly the times with 400k XMR on sale.

Perhaps, it's that these kind of news are used by certain traders to shake out weak hands? Plus some of the classic investor types coming new into crypto get scared by this kind of institutional FUD.

The way monero is holding its value in this crypto bear market I think is telling of who is going to be the big winner when it turns bull market. Do you think Monero is a good choice for a long term?
Depends how you define long term. In general no crypto currency is going to be a good "long term investment" if "long term" is too long of a term. They are all just schemes of a somewhat arbitrary nature. They will all, in time, return from whence they came. Every cryptocurrencys ultimate eventual price is 0. This isn't to discount them. A hammer that fades into nothingness over the course of a decade can still hammer a lot of nails. They have utility so long as their price isn't 0 and monero has some of the best utility of anything out there. So I think prospects are very bright for monero, but I wouldnt "set it and forget it" because I wouldn't do that with any cryptocurrency. Buy a gold bar if you want a long term investment. Buy a cryptocurrency if you want an exciting speculative vehicle with big potential. Who has seen an expression that subtle in any movie in 10 years? When did Sean Connery become Chris Pratt? Where did all the real actors go?

It's probably about the same amount nowadays too, just spread across more exchanges.

The Monerujo Android wallet is working on mainnet. The developer is recommending small transactions right now though. Ledger is supposed to release the alpha Monero hardware wallet by end of this month. Both developments bullish for price.
