This is something that bears watching, IMO:

Out of 1.2 million /r/,  Monero is:

No. 104   Fastest growing yesterday
No. 117   Fastest growing last 7 days
No. 201   Fastest growing last 30 days
No. 427   Fastest growing last 90 days

Over 1000 new subscribers per day, and accelerating.  Sure, all of crypto is expanding, but to me this indicates that Monero is receiving its share of attention, and more.  Ranked  near top 0.1% (for # subscribers on that site) and exploding upward.  This is visibility, adoption, exposure, whatever you want to call it.  Here it comes.

Cool stats, they match my sense of what is happening.  I see a dip against BTC and then (unlike in the past) there are immediately bargain hunters, hoovering up any signs of cheap Monero.

You have to realise you just can't buy cheap Monero any more, unless you're very quick off the mark.  I am having to adjust my trading stance accordingly...  

EDIT: BTW, Explorer - I guess you have also spotted how the odd mention of Monero in the WO thread is allowed to pass through the velvet rope. Far more of the smarter people are keeping Monero quietly in their portfolio, it seems

So whats the sentiment, is Coinbase a pipe dream or are some of you starting to feel its possible.

I know I was always so skeptical, however I now would guess at the likelyhood in 2018 (of XMR on CB) to be something like 50%.

I'm at 1337% now that multisig is merged.

I'm a little confused about MS. In order for it to be actually used, don't the wallets have to be updated? Particularly the GUI? I've seen no evidence of that. Am I misunderstanding things?

Probably in the next hardfork along with hopefully bulletproofs. You can compile the main branch from github yourself if you want to have a look at multisig.

Yeah, I understand that it's not released yet. My question is, if MS were released tomorrow (it doesn't require a HF) is there functionality in the GUI or CLI to use it? Does it require a more advanced interface for the GUI, for example?

Usually CLI binaries are released first and few days latter also GUI.    How do you know it will happen tomorrow? I had not found any such info and such announcements usually not happen in Monero.

No - I don't know.  I said "if". I'm just curious as to whether there has been any corresponding work done on the GUI in preparation for MS.

consistent xmr BUY on bisq.io in the last days at 5% more than market price. Seems to be the same entity accumulating (there are no corresponding SELL(s)) . I count 2M USD for the last two days' BUY(s) alone of approximately the same amount range (50 - 55 XMR) each.

That's one possibility. However, given bitcoin's fungibility problem, bisq.io is ideal for dumping dirty coins on an unsuspecting user.

i have the same feeling , but still scared somewhere that the crypto marked will implode... a big big correction before we see 1000 usd

Just login in to say my support for the coin. I started mining it back in October and it's gone nothing but up ever since. That is crazy. And it feels like it could easily double in the next year. I been holding on to this coin and will continue to do so.

I'm sure you're quite aware that coinmarketcap is not really a good metric, especially not for dash which has more than 6 million coins frozen in masternodes.

Almost certainly some variety of this. Not necessarily nefarious , but someone who wants to stay under the radar for sure.

Its right before the timewarp attack by BCX should start so people are pulling out again. If no attack happens in the next 24 hours it should start to increase.

Since $400 is <6% move above todays ATH, it is possible, and even likely that we see it in minutes/hours anyway.

Technically a victory would have had to be last week, but any time this month is close enough for my calculations.  Aminorex was off by a month for the $200 call, but I still give him the nod for a good call

well, .047 might be ~900.  Or it might be ~400.  Or 2000.  Not that it matters: It is a measure of hierarchy as much as anything.  And Monero will be moving up.

One year ago, at $8, this seemed really, really far off.
