Just seize the day, buy xrm today (-13% dip). Monero is an innovative crypto currency where the focus is clearly on anonymity. If the technology improves and XMR becomes more comfortable (light wallet…) the price will probably rise. But for now in my opinion you pay not for the XMR price now, but for the price in the future if XMR improves.

Why is the network hashrate increasing when the price drops? Speculate away!

Ok I did not exactly think of a 30% + drop... Wonder where the bottom is...

Yes I expected we will do better in free fall, but I guess reason is that Monroe would have correction because of recent growth in any case.  Slowly that force will fade out and if Bitcoin will fall further Monero will be one of coins that will follow Bitcoin least.

Maybe some coins miners were mining went down more then Monero and miners follow the profit.

Bitfinex. If you believe the FUD, they may explode some day, but until then, their service has been flawless for me.  Their deposits and withdrawals are processed lightning fast, so my funds are only exposed to counterparty risk for a short time. Liquidity, trading interface is second to none. Bittrex and Poloniex have both held my funds hostage and I don't trust them at all.

My XMR have been stuck in Binance for weeks. I can trade but not withdrawl. Anyone else have this same problem?

Same problem here. Thinking in trade them to another currency, and then moving to bittrex where it allows to withdraw monero.

Good idea, might do the same.

its getting hard to buy monero at the moment, withdrawals not working from polo or binance, and both bittrex and bfx are currently not accepting new registrations.

never had a problem with polo before, been buying xmr there for a few years. so i deposit xmr sell this week buy back today and now cannot withdraw my precious xmr..maybe i being punished for putting them on exchange  Sad

XMR will have at least 3.5% of BTC's marketcap by February 24th at just after 2pm PST.

You can take that to the bank. (I mean it this time.)

Seasons greetings to one and all.

Still on target.

Try not to think in terms of USD but rather in BTC. If the cryptospace is a rollercoaster then all that matters is how close we're sitting to the front, irrespective of the nature of the track and its various loops.

I think xmr will slowly start to climb the top 10 again in 2018. There are too many scam coins at the top currently and we will see these finally starting to fall.

Monero is a great coin, infact the best there is for privacy bar non.

Merry Christmas, Rangedriver!

Sure we trade against BTC, but how can one not keep an eye on $ value, since that is what we all will have to cash out into, ultimately.

Xmr is good. When the bitcoin falls hard, the subcoins become shabby. XMR I think a good project will try to get to the $ 500 level at the first opportunity.

I guess I'll be more interested in Xmr now. I was already aware of the potential but I could not invest in capital. I can invest in serious capital. I think it will be profitable.

Unless we can have ones need for services and goods provided by whom wish to hold Moneroj... we must unlock that "feature" that is not so obvious in our roadmaps, which is the capability of using Monero directly to acquire goods and services and associate the value of Monero to the value of that goods and services. That is when the thing REALLY happens...

Back in the Top 10 again.

That's where it should be. What is Bitcoin Gold anyway, when we have Monero. Grin
It should pass other stupid coins like Iota and Cardano.

Based on the February prediction, we are probably looking at moving up to 6-7th place in terms of marketcap.  Ideally we will be above DASH.

My own prediction?  $550 on Feb 21st  Shocked
