I just made two xmr deposits to Kraken, but after 30 confirmations they are not visible there. Have you experienced this kind of delay? How long will it take? The xmr deposit address is definitely valid.

Usually xmr has been visible after 15 confirmations.

Hello! Never had such problems, always brought everything through the monero and very quickly pass the transaction, most likely the problem with Kraken. Contact technical support.

It seems to me that it's too early to contact technical support. Maybe you need to wait. I also transferred these coins and I had to wait a few hours while they were credited to my deposit.

I contacted support right away. They have not answered yet. Coins can not be seen either yet on Kraken.

With https://xmrchain.net/ I can prove I have made the deposit. Transaction can be detected by using both standard address and Krakens integrated address.

I just made a third small xmr deposit to Kraken. After about 20 confirmations it is not visible on Kraken site. Could somebody else make a small xmr deposit on Kraken to test what happens?

Never had issues depositing. Are you seeing the TX coming is as unconfirmed in the Kraken frontend?

I do not see anywhere any of incoming transactions. By that "frontend", do you mean the "account" view on Kraken? The deposits made earlier are visible and status is success. But these two what I made yesterday and this one that I made today, nothing.

I can see my transactions are confirmed for hundreds of times. And they have gone to right and valid address on Kraken.

New Year’s holiday fiat deposits:

The deadline for receiving fiat deposits is Thursday, December 28th 2017 at 11:59PM (JST). Deposits not received by this time will not be received until after Thursday, January 4th. Please note that we cannot guarantee that deposits sent before this day will be received by the cut-off time.

New Year’s holiday fiat withdrawals:

The deadline for sending fiat withdrawals is no later than Thursday, December 28th 2017 at 3 PM (JST). Withdrawal requests made after this cutoff time will not be processed until January 4th.

Any deposits and withdrawals made after the above dates will not be processed until on or after January 4th, 2018. It just show that release date had not come out.  Price was decreasing last months altho sort beta 0.9 release was long time out. None out of core team knew and expected it will happen today.
Price of Monero decreased from 0.0015 to 0.001 BTC in  2015. I doubt at end of 2016 will be only as high as it was in beginning of 2015 but much higher. Most possibly Monero will be coin that will gain most in 2016 out of top20 by capitalizations coins.


Hydrogen Helix is real start of Monero. Monero ended qualifications and set ready on start of crypto race.

I sort of speculate we will get similar New Years present as we did 2 years ago when we got 0.9.0 Hydrogen Helix. So I went to check 2 years ago posts and saw this one. I was actually for once right, since Monero was the best performing coin of 2016.

It is also funny that lots of posts back then was about multisig.

This is going even more weird. Now to Monero deposit addresses vanished from Kraken. There has been nothing "expiring" status at these addresses, like there should be for many days before an address vanishes. The addresses just were gone. Before I found out that the addresses were gone there was some text someting like "Tier 3 is not eneough for these funds". But now the addresses are just gone.

Luckily I took a screenshot where is current time and valid address, so I can proof that I have sent the xmr to address wich have been valid at the time of transaction.

But this is truly getting me nervous.

They still have not answered anything.

Dude, this is all about Kraken and nothing to do with Monero. I can understand your frustration and nervousness, but you know the risks that you face when dealing with these exchanges. Anyway, you shouldn't need to worry much. I highly doubt Kraken will want to risk their reputation for a few thousand dollars. Just wait til it all gets better, then if your deposit doesn't show up, go through their support channels. Everyone has to be careful with Kraken and exchanges at any time. Hopefully you aren't using them to store your Monero!

Similar thoughts...  Excited for New Years Day, but not really expecting anything, at the same time.  The 2016 gift was fantastic, but I try not to hope for such again.  It won't be long anyway, no more than a few weeks I think for the next release.  Here comes multisig - soon has arrived

Yea I know. Monero is just fine. Tansactions are fast. It is all about Kraken. I always am careful with the exchanges. I do not store any XMR on exhanges. I have been Monero holder since 2014. And I have held them in cold wallets.

Monero is experiencing an exponential (maybe. I dunno, but the pace is picking up rapidly) increase in development growth to go with the interest, and price growth.  Everything is moving faster.

   What are the biggest complaints in crypto right now, besides the constants of exchanges and wallets?  It's cost, and confirmation time.  What's coming to Monero, to join with all that great stuff we had before?  Why, Bulletproofs, of course!    Order of magnitude cheaper transactions, faster transactions, added to 2 min block time, blocks that adjust to usage, fees that reduce even further with usage, Not to mention our friend Fungi Billy T.  How can you not be just insanely bullish?  Usability is being constantly improved, and Hardware Wallets just around the corner will help immensely.
  
While it's no secret that I'm always bullish on Monero, it's not just the pretty logo that gets me.  Actually I fucking hate orange.  But it's the only project in crypto with the ideals behind it, and embraced by the devs, that call to me.  Everything I wanted bitcoin to be when I first discovered it.  Price appreciation is exciting and rewarding;  It is nothing to the giddy feeling I get when I consider the accomplishments thus far, and what lies ahead imminently, as we close rapidly on the 4 year mark.  Happy New Year, my friends.  It is going to be fantastic!

We are all extremely Bullish on Monero long run the problem is all this stupid money thats in the scene now that is just at the mercy of the money-men and the market is being moved by emotion. The big cash cows are flexing their muscles and you can have the best thing since sliced bread and if the hedge funds can't get enough of it to make it worth their while then they will pass it up. Coins are being seen by the massive influx of speculators as all being the same and are only being bought and sold for profits sake not as investments so there is no way to really see whats going to happen. My forecast and others is more of a guess of when the market comes to it's senses and most of the stupid money has been stripped from the sheeples pockets and the market gets back to fundamentals. People are buying just because a coin is dons 20% not even knowing it's because it's going to get delisted thinking its going to get pumped. Lol the market is in it's insane mode. But BTC dropping is proving it's starting to become normalized and It is actually happening faster than I thought it would, the drooling masses are not so easily fooled this time around. Not as many will be left holding swampland in Florida (BCN LOL).

This seems to be a trend where the exchanges are just ignoring support tickets, I mean they can hire someone to just give a reply as a opposed to a canned response saying that a fucking human read the damn thing anyway!

Then you should have confidence that your funds will be registered, if you persist in seeking support.  If that fails, send them a demand letter.

Did you send to an integrated address? If not, did you use any required payment ID?  If not, it may take some human intervention before your account is credited.
