Where is Primer?? Wink
The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Gone a couple of years ago, but I think he made a reasonable prediction:

No XMR transactions reported yesterday on alphabay.

I guess darknet traders just don't care. Junkies are not really the brightest crowd.

I expect to see XMR back at a reasonable price within the next week or two, 0.05 - 0.07 is reasonable taking the current ATH network difficulty into account, everything
above is just speculation.

I forgot about him, I'm pretty sure he was a botnet operator.

This is a veritable shit-ton of hash power coming on.

Is there a chance?   That this hashrate is related to the Chainalysis contract to break Monero?  Serious question... I cannot see how that would be.

Much more likely someone discovered an exploitable hole in some cloud services server farm?  Azure? AWS etc?

Small chance this is new Asics coming on.  Unlikely.

Time will answer the last one, I suppose.

I can confirm it's cloud mining with XMRig. Who's doing it - no idea.

I sold my XMR for 0xMR.

Why would you announce to the world on an open forum that you are a Moron?

I think we are in the same phase as in February/March 2016 so you should consider selling some of your stock (10-50%) and wait two months, then you should by back at 30-50% plus
When you have done that, fasten your seat belts, then the ride will be quick and dirty   Roll Eyes Grin Grin Grin

Bit of healthy profit taking here.

Stil noticing the long tails on the candles.

I think it shows a lot people changing their positions around, opening and closing longs and shorts.

Still feeling good here.

Plenty of room for this healthy pullback.  In the long run it is good NOT to go overly parabolic since that is what happens at the TOP. Smiley  I miss 11 though.

People don't really know the value of monero. In my opinion, it should be the most valuable altcoin after ethereum, because it is a true anonymous coin. The value of such a coin should not be that small.

You're preaching to the choir n here... but you are dead right.  I think it's utility is higher than Ethereums in reality aside from the fact you can't create a fountain of endless scams with it.

I think the only way this discrepancy is righted is we continue to see the usage go firmly up.  Eventually the value has to catch up.

Etherium is a thing that continues to have more and more glue poured on top of it.

I wouldn't touch it. But so many crappy projects continue to survive on past their smelly date.

Perhaps we are finally seeing the transcendence of Monero.

Pissed off that BTC people persuaded me I needed to be holding a BTC at 068    *shake fist*

Hodl both. Problem solved.

- You can figure out what will happen, not when /Warren Buffett
- Pay any Bitcoin address privately with a little help of Monero.
