Well if you read the link you posted you would know what he is asking ie advertising and having his coins in the app.

Not to hype the price but if companies like his are smart and really believe in the potential they really should be buying gems right now to secure cheap advertising.

Well if you read the link you posted you would know what he is asking ie advertising and having his coins in the app.

Not to hype the price but if companies like his are smart and really believe in the potential they really should be buying gems right now to secure cheap advertising.

Good one, many of these alts can advertise through gems making it very simple to reach out and introduce their project to others. Today i got a message from a friend on whatsapp asking me if i can find him an iPhone 5c buyer, i immediately thought gems advertisement model of 'Pay for a sponsored appearance in the contact list / user directory'.

A sponsored result will probably appear first in the list of contacts (and probably be labeled as a sponsored result). In addition, we might also show sponsored results in user contact lists which aren’t related as direct contacts. For example, even if I don’t personally know the startup member looking for a developer, I will still see their sponsored result when I enter my contacts screen or when I search in the user directory.

Keeping advertisements relevant is similar in nature to previous channels, such as targeting by content and targeting by profile. In addition, another interesting criteria is the distance between users (hop count or connection degree - 1st degree are immediate friends, 2nd degree are friends of friends, etc). It makes sense to show sponsored statuses from users who travel in similar circles.

I had an issue with transfering Gems from Poloniex to my in-App wallet and the wallet on Counterparty, but the transfer finally (after 2 days) succeeded.

I have seen posts about it, although I cannot remember in which page it was, but how and when is the Counterparty wallet going to be linked to your Getgems account and in-App wallet? If I transfer now the Gems that I bought recently and which are still on Poloniex to my Counterparty wallet, I guess this will be automatically linked to my in-App wallet which can be opened with the same seed? I suppose this will be activitated once the iOS version is fully released and the airdrops start? So the airdrop calculations are based on the total amount of Gems of the in-App wallet + Counterparty wallet?

Sorry for bringing this up while it has been stated somewhere in this thread already, but I cannot find it anymore.

We apologies for the delay with the withdrawal, there was an issue with counterparty.

We are working on this feature and more, will update with more information asap.

Why not release the ios app? couldn't you just update it later?

Well, after installing I found that I had all the Telegram users listed un Gem-app... I thought we should invite the people to install gems-app, but now...

How are you organizating the diference between Telegram users and Gems users?

After a week of QA we uploaded the updated iOS version for approval - a development update will cover everything.
We'll sure keep rolling constant updates and listening to feedback - this is just the beginning!

The second that Iphone version is out, I am going to start pushing this app like crazy.  That is the beauty of this model.  Each and every user is incentivized to grow the service.

I think it has to do something with adding the off-chain feature:

IMPORTANT : Updating to version 422, in-app GEMZ balance will show zero. Your existing In-App GEMZ will need to be transferred to the off-chain address using https://counterwallet.io/ for the GEMZ to be displayed by the App. [More about the difference between on-chain and off-chain transactions here]

Simply go to your online wallet which holds GEMZ and transfer to the address provided by your app. You can copy the GEMZ address to your clipboard and then paste it into an email sent to yourself, or use Telegram on the desktop and paste it into a message from within GetGems.

You didn't save it via taking a photo on your last phone? Check your old phone for the photo or your new one if your photos were transferred.

did you have a lot of gems in it? If not I guess you could always start a new one, nothing lost.

I just had to log out and log in again. Now evrrything works fine. Thanks to the support!
