You're sweating everyone for 2,500 gems current value 0.2 BTC or less $46.

Go away and play with your toys there are men talking here.

I was not aware "men" were separated from "others" based on investment values.

Thank god the real world does not operate in this way. So mechanics and car dealerships should only look after expensive cars and ignore the faults of the cars that are not as valuable? Tthe medical world should only cater to the rich and instead we should all disregard problems where the person has not made big investments or has large amounts of money?!

Seems a bit condescending to be honest.

The gemz which i had sent to my poloniex account has been auto sent to another location. Please see below:

https://www.blockscan.com/address?q=1HnVVsX54QSaAe7VRCY78UbFQkZgX5PmzC

^^ Poloniex account

https://www.blockscan.com/address/1Po1oXMCWobE6kxWr8rJEP1SRq71JSD3t4

^^ Where it has been sent to.

I am not even sure how it can display on poloniex as pending for nearly two days and then do this without leaving any trace on poloniex.

Please help.

1Po1oXMCWobE6kxWr8rJEP1SRq71JSD3t4 belongs to poloniex, it's entered a hot wallet then sent to polo's main address. (normal behavior) It should be visible on exchange, since they've clearly been sent through the blockchain.  If they are not available in poloniex contact support-  as it is a problem on that end. the staff are excellent compared to many other exchanges and it should be resolved relatively quickly

Correct, that is Poloniex, nothing to do with our withdrawal system. Poloniex has been having delays with accepting deposits, as per previous posts. They have a hot wallet its sent to, then goes to another address. I waited 3.5 hours after about 4 support emails to Poloniex to get mine to clear through.

I'm not sure why so many people have focused on Polinex. Its an ok exchange but mainly its focused on trading and scammy coins IMO. They have had problems not updating wallets on some coins. Like I said its a good exchange but what I don't understand the focus on it but there is almost no vol on BTER which has a far better reputation IMO.

Just to give some positive news. The download counter went to 1000-5000 today. Which is pretty good going considering the stage we are at.

True, so true. Just read this one http://cointelegraph.com/news/113238/chat-logs-allegedly-show-bter-creating-and-pumping-its-own-coin and judge for yourself.

BTER really had no reason to be involved in that little scam. They probably make as much as that scam did in a week or less. Its overall reputation is I think sound, they get the big vols more than any other exchange I know. When you have massive vol for a long time, thats about as much of a guarantee as you can get these days on exchanges.

Look at the vol on some of their top coins, one at 5,000 BTC!!!

Did they really need to be involved in a shitty little scam?

Talking about volumes, you're right, they've got massive volumes indeed. Talking about trust is another thing and that I don't really trust them, should be obvious I guess

That's great considering the app is in the fine tuning stage and not 100% functional yet, also the main features haven't been released yet. Up to 10.000-50.000

Fair enough. I'm not pushing any exchange just wondered why the vol was so low on BTER compared to Polinex especially with some delays with Polinex, I trade on both. I've no had issues with BTER for the last year so I'm pretty trusting of them I guess.

I have been looking a bit at how social media apps similar to GEMS have grown. None exploded overnight it seems and many took 6 months at least to start getting popular.  The first stage is the most important I think. So many apps have 5,000 downloads and thats it, NXTTY is typical of that. I personally think the magic number is 50,000 because if we get 50,000 its really not a jump to 100,000 and then 500,000+.

If we get to 50,000 buy every single Gemz coin you possibly can, cause after that I believe its moon time.

We should aim for more, it has a great team behind it. Israel has the most successful startup ratio after silicon valey, Gems has what it takes to be one of them. If it makes it, even 50k-100k i would be very glad i took part of its birth at a very tiny space on the internet. I think from 100k network effect spreads faster.

Better someone that has 100 gems and approaching GetGems in a constructive way, then someone just looking for a profitable way out and on to the next coin.

Hear hear Gizfreak. As a matter of fact 80.000.000 constructive 1 GEM holders are worth just a little bit more then a hand full GEMS milionairs.
For you maybe, but not for me as my first goal would be building up a community that actual gets involved (and I mean not only as a bagholder).
If you got that act together, then bring on the millionairs, but as a secondary goal. Capice? Well I hope so.

I personally don't buy this whole we need a strong community thing that is popular these days. What you need is a great product and people who want to use that product. A good example of community people always talk about is NXT, but I find they have become an insular clique of programmers that many in the wider community find annoying. I don't see any need for people to do any work on the app and DEV side,it's competly covered by Getgems.

Yep, Gems I'm sorry doesnt particularly need a community. It needs 1m downloads and to make money for investors. the best advertisement for any coin is it makes lots of people rich, sorry but it's true. Then people flock to it and then a community is formed. Do you think anyone would of cared about bitcoin in the media if it hadn't made some people very rich?

But a community does not make a coin, I know that's the popular belief but I don't agree with it.
